For those about to POE -- make sure you ask the IO if you've been updated in the SAVE system when crossing over.

I hate this process. It never seems to end. :diablo:

Yohino--Any updates?

Matt+Tina, SPSGuy, Tharnsur and Vivek have received their GCs in the mail.

Yo, me, Nat, Tat, Doctor, Lukaszk all seem to be waiting on the 'welcome letter'

Still waiting for welcome letter and SSN and GC for hubby's POE on June 14....besides waiting, what can we do...?

By the way, congratulations to everyone who got approval and visas!!!

By the way, congratulations to everyone who got approval and visas!!!

Sachin and others who didnt get their GCs/SSN - who do you call at this point if you dont get it? is it the USCIS, or DoS? Sachin, you called the airport but there's probably got to be a better place to call. for SSN, i know you can call the SS office. but what about GC?

p.s - also i think you gotta give it about 3 weeks to get the cards (at least for the SSN, as that what it says in that sheet they give you with the visa packet)...

I thought they wrote your A# in your Passport at POE....

as SJ pointed out, they write it at the POE in your passport. in your NOA2, it should be in the box that says beneficiary (beneficiary's name) in the upper right (below the big USA sign; 3rd box from top in my NOA2)...

Did you have an A# from before? Were you in the US on a studentvisa or something? Maybe that's why you had that in your NOA2 and not me, maybe mine wasn't appointed until my visa was approved, that's the only thing that would make sense?
