Sorry to hear that! I haven't been on here lately. What's going on now? I hope she received the visa.

Hey, where have you been?

It really has been a while. Coz my wife sent them in the evening on the interview. got a reply the next day, and received here visa-stamped Passport after two days. So everything worked out ok. I have booked a flight for the 16th of July and will head back with her on the 24th. So good news all around.

CONGRATS TO EVERYONE!!! my interview is in two weeks and I can't wait. Hopefully everything will go well. My hubby had his medical today and is done with that. Now we just have to wait.

Interview passed n visa approved on June 8th!! Was told to go pick up visa 3 days later!!

Congratulations and so happy for ALL the approvals!!! June is a good month indeed.

I've been busy with hubby's coming to the USA. We entered the USA together this morning (Monday the 14th) via Seattle. Now we are just trying to adjust as I need to go back to work immediately. Busy preparing my apartment together is a new and exciting experience. So happy!!

Good luck to the rest of the June interviews. Best wishes to everyone's journey. I will post my review later...

Hubby has a ssn already but it says for working purposes only. We wore thinking of going to SSS office & getting a new one because who knows when they will mail him a new one or if they will.

Hello!!! Well, hubby is now home (has been for the past 2wks) & we have been busy. Moving & shopping for house stuff. We are actually getting ready to move again because we don't like the apartment we are in.

Hubby is now working & goes to work early so he is in bed by 8pm. Plus our daughter is getting more active day by day so its hard to really have any time to myself lately. But all is good with us. I love having hubby home & Gisele adores him!!!

Glad to hear all is okay for your wife!!! Hope the time goes by fast & she will be in the states & you too can start your family life. I don't remember, do you guys have any kids? Of course if you don't mind me asking.

SJ, good to hear your wife got the visa and it wasnt much of a hassle at all. y'know after all the ####### that my wife went thru getting her medical done, chennai embassy (or is it the VFS) completely forgot to include the medical sheet in the sealed envelope?! when the customs officer went thru it at our PoE in NYC, he couldnt find it and asked my wife if she had any communicable diseases or if the doc had told her anything to which she said no. then he said " i guess it doesnt really matter much" and told us good luck. shows you how much that document is really worth here in the US. i guess he probably figured that the only way we could have gotten the visa is by passing thru all the hurdles and so not that critical to not have it...

anyway, congrats and i'm sure you're very excited to have your wife pack and be ready to leave. believe me, the week or so you have planned to bring her back will vanish like thin air! we, OTOH, are adjusting to the US timezone and battling jet lag!
