Congratulations and so happy for ALL the approvals!!! June is a good month indeed.

I've been busy with hubby's coming to the USA. We entered the USA together this morning (Monday the 14th) via Seattle. Now we are just trying to adjust as I need to go back to work immediately. Busy preparing my apartment together is a new and exciting experience. So happy!!

Good luck to the rest of the June interviews. Best wishes to everyone's journey. I will post my review later...

congrats and thank you!

Ok, we're 2 weeks and counting...to the big day. Unfortunately, it seems like the Casa embassy is in one of its "moods" right now. I need some advice on evidence and getting my husband ready without it seeming too rehearsed. It's just that it's a high fraud consulate and I have no idea how to approach this so they see we are the real deal. Any ideas, folks? (PLEASE!) I did email them and let them know I am in town for the summer and asked if I could go to the interview but they told me the petitioner is not allowed unless the CO specifically requests it. *sigh*

Here's what we have so far for evidence:

-emails since 2006

-a few chat screen captures I was able to find on an old computer from 2007

-many chat screen captures since I returned home last summer after we got married

-phone card receipts

-my old passport with the stamps from last year's trip (I have a new one with my married name.)

-my passport this trip with the stamp

-boarding passes for this trip

-100 photos from last year including the henna party, wedding, candids, and photos with his family

-we have a few photos from this trip but I've only been here a week so we'll take more

-2 affidavits were mailed with the original application (a lawyer I consulted advised against anything else...ugh!)

What else do we need that I can do from here?

I would go over each and everyone of your red-flags (age difference, cultural difference, met online, short courtship, previous relationships, kids, religious differences etc. -- whatever may be applicable to your case, you'd know best) and have strong evidence and confident answers prepared in order to rebut it.

Casa is one of the highest-fraud consulates in the world and it is a different beast altogether. You need to focus, prepare and respond adequately. Be prepared for an AP post-interview.

My bank did with out her been here physically all they ask was her (my wife) notarize her signature at US embassy, but if you open new bank account yes you and you husband have to be physically at the bank.

Yes, you are right. I'm ok with AP and am prepared...it's the send back to USCIS we are trying to avoid because who knows how long that will take. The only red flags from your list we have are that we met online (although it was 4 years ago) and the religious difference. Thanks for the ideas and keep us in your thoughts, if you can.

Case Complete at NVC on 06-12-2010 and per NVC operator, case waiting for an interview date to be scheduled from NVC...

GREAT! congrats!! so hoping for a july interview!! good luck! interviews are being assigned about now so keep and eye out for it!!

What else do we need that I can do from here?

looks good! did you guys ever share any sort of bills? that would be good!
