So happy and excited for all the approvals!! I'm leaving in 24hrs to visit hubby and for his interview on Monday...so nervous and worried still. I have every single piece of documents/proof I can think of, and my mom and sister are writing a letter about how me and hubby met and about our relationship....we won't be able to have it notarized though, just an unofficial letter from them...hope that's okay....

still about 10 more hours of work to go though.

Again, congratulations and very happy to all that got their approvals! Great job every one!!!:thumbs::dance:

GOOD LUCK!

waiting for your good news !

Thank you every one for the best wishes. I'm literally shaking already...a few more hours of work, and in 12 hours I"ll be on the plane to Hong Kong...Hubby is so calm though...he keeps telling me don't worry, we'll be okay...I guess I read too many denied/AP story here that I'm thinking about the worst outcome already...sigh...

O well, I'll be off for a few days then...and will try to update here as soon as I can.

Good luck and best wishes to every one's journey!!

Hi everyone!

My huband and I got his Visa appointment for the 21st of June 2010.

We are both very nervous, not knowing what to expect for me is nerve racking.

Maybe someone out there is in the same situation as us. My husband was in the state

illegally for many years and was sent back but not by an immigration judge. He has the

10 year bar to deal with. Do any of you have the same situation?

and what have you done to over come that?

Your husband will be denied at the interview. When did he leave the U.S. -- the clock starts from the date of departure. You can apply for a hardship waiver.

Hello everyone!!!!

I am glad to see some members that were part of my journey while I was doing the paper work for my wife. She is in the US now and we are very happy. Now I have to go thru this journey again. Today I submited an I-130 form to bring my son. I should of done it at the same time that I requested for my wife. I think this time is going to be much better journey because I have my wife with me. I guess I am a June filer now. See you guys later...............

my wife paid the VFS today and got the receipt. that pretty much ends the last of the official docs that are needed. now the last thing she'll get tomorrow is a couple of affidavits from friends and family and then we'll be completely prepared! seriously, i'm at my wits end with this stupid process. I, OTOH, am flying to India on the 7th and will get there on the 9th and meet up with my wife and my parents. together we all accompany my wife to the interview on the 10th (of course we will be waiting in the american citizens waiting area while she interviews). Lots of moving parts - hopefully all WILL go well!

Good luck to all; SJ you're a day before mine - how's your wife handling everything? you guys ready?
