Now awaiting for the visa

Congratulations to all the recent approvals/SIFs/CCs!!

My wife is *almost* ready for the interview on the 9th. I am gonna send her the last two pieces of information today, i.e. my most recent paystubs and a scanned copy of my Indian passport on which I had travelled when I went to get married since I wasnt a citizen then. I also need to send her a format for the friends/family proof of marriage letter. Does anyone have a sample? Or maybe someone could point me to where I can find it on VJ.

Amen! i think you're ok. i'm also having my wife get extra affidavits for her birth (from her father, since only her parents' first names are on the birth certificate, while they put the full maiden for her...go figure) and from her brother and neighbors as witnesses to our wedding. we never presented them, but am getting her to get them for backup purposes. I only want one outcome out of this - VISA APPROVED!

i think also any boarding passes you may have when you flew to get married would also be good. other than that, best of luck to all of us! i'll be flying into chennai that AM!
