NVC will tell you your interview date over the phone, if it's been assigned. That happened to a few people. They called in the afternoon and got the e-mail in the evening or the next day. But definitely have to wait for that first assignment to request the interview be pre-poned.

Woo! One more week and then things start rolling for us!

Deb, how're you doing, hon? You're first up.

Hey lady, I'm not so great at the moment. The whole evidence thing is getting to me. Again, I feel like necking myself ... someone please come and help me. You'll get free room and board and I'm a great tour guide (if you like drinking copious amounts of vodka, mojitos and margeritas) ... :crying:

Apart from that - it's bloody fantastic. The husband arrives the day after my interview (bless him) so I'm more concentrating on that now than the interview (you know, making sure the landscape is maintained after the long, cold winter ... ).

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR: (dd/mm/yyyy)

18/09/09 - CR1 NOA1

16/07/10 - POE LAX (256 days NOA1 to interview)

That looks fantastic Juls :) the packet I sent to Merlaine was very similar. It weighed 7.71 kg when I sent it to her and we added to it for 3 months after that. I felt really bad for her having to carry all that but you need to take ANYTHING and everything you can think of that they might want. Turns out her CO looked at 6 or 8 photos and that was all (she and her brother who'd been helping lug that thing all over Manila weren't very happy.. ) Interview = better safe than sorry
