Biometrics - not just PIC & FINGER?

I got a call from my wife at the biometrics site and she asked me what her height & weight are in feet & pounds.

I would have thought those crack troops in Homeland Security would have the facilities for measuring

those things, not just taking the applicant's word for it.

She did the walk-in at the New Rochelle office on 246 North Ave. in downtown New Rochelle,

as we live in Westchester and there is a convenient bus from where we live. She just called

60 seconds ago to say she would have a look around the neighborhood and then go home.

It will be good for her planned travel to Thailand to have the biometrics over & done with 9 days

before her appointment. I'll get the details tonight; all is good.

When you go for your biometrics you are given a form to fill out. It has those questions listed on the form. They don't worry about whether it is accurate or not - the liability for inaccuracy falls upon the applicant. Then, you hand in the form and you have your photograph taken and your fingerprints digitally taken.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

question.. is the pic you have taken the one they use? Or the ones you sent in? Otherwise what's the point of sending in two pics?

I think the picture they take is the one they use. Maybe the pictures you send in go on your file?

Mundo Bizarro dept.:

When they got to hair color, she has streaked BROWN hair coloring (as I observe)

but the staff processing her noted her hair color as BLONDE even after she initially

put down BLACK which is her natural hair color.
