Pman had his second interview on yesterday and was APPROVED! We are elated! He had the 'Asian Lady' again. This time, however, there were no questions, nor requests for additional evidence. She simply thanked him for his patience and endurance during the process and congratulated him  . Then, she gave him instructions on how and when to pick up his visa. So nine months after it began, our CR-1 visa journey is over-- just like that!

Thanks to everyone for posting your experiences and inquiries. I learned a lot and gained tons of inspiration. Special thanks to Nwanyioma, David's Wife, Egbosimbas, Effieb, etc. for helping me to maintain the little sanity I have left. Without VJ and the gang, the journey would have been much harder if not impossible.

All the best to everyone. As we continue on the journey that is life, I look forward to reading more good news from people overcoming seemingly impossible odds in pursuit of love. :luv:

Thanks WaitingforHubby! We are trying very hard not to book any travel before visa is in hand, so we're not exactly sure. He is scheduled to pick it up on next Tuesday (5/4) and then we'll book and know for sure then...

It will probably be the first available Delta flight from LGS directly into ATL.

Thanks Armani Khan!

I know. I was so scared, worried, stressed, etc. They kept us guessing until the very end  I keep reading about consulates that call to tell beneficiaries to bring their passports in for visa placement. This one just sent me an ominous email to have Pman report for an interview. Who knew what fate would befall him?

 So good to hear from you, Effieb!!! All I can say is :wow: That was some journey! Thanks for coaching and inspiring me. I was really down and out for a period of time. Immigration is no joke! No kidding, I have like 4 gray hairs now. I'm glad to be turning to another chapter in this book called life

Girl, now instead of in terror, I wake up with a smile. Then I call and pester Pman about when he's coming over here and all the 'things' he will have to do when he gets here  We have some catching up to do in the worst way. Honestly, his 'honey do' list is like a mile long now
