Do illegals have DL's?

Whenever I have any legal contact with law enforcement here They run me to see if I am dangerous or wanted... any problem with that?

nope.

the problem w/ the law is this. 'reasonable suspicion'. whats reasonable? & whats suspicious? who decides the benchmark for both? its impossible to set a benchmark w/o considering race. which immediately makes the law unconstitutional & unenforceable. the way its written, it passes any other constitutional challenges it will face. in the end, all this law is going to do is push the federal gov't to move faster on some kind of immigration 'reform' & or make them try harder to enforce immigration law.

*that doesn't mean i'm not going to be a supporter of the arizona gov't for at least trying to curb illegal immigration*

It's such a tragedy to see everyone crying about the discrimination that is apparently going to happen.

Apparently not being able to go into an area know for its Hispanic gang activity is better.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

if it happens or not. it will be presented as if it happens everytime. i'm sure some are already setting up 'sting' videos...USC trying to act as suspicious as possible to get the police's attention & get questioned, they will have convienently forgotten their ID at home, but won't be able to relay that info to the officer....finish the story as you see fit.

By the way, I understood your words just not your logic. IE. if hispanic gangs are causing trouble, police don't need this law to stop them. If your holding a smoking P90, Mac10 or Tec9 the last thing the police are thinking about is your status.

Apparently.

I'm not the only one they do it to.. its common practice in Fl to run people that law enforcement comes in contact with if they have the time or feel like it... If I ask them directions they are not going to ask me..but if I was acting hokey when I asked they wouldlikely think something was up and ask who I was..

I think it is funny as hell that there were parades and huge get togethers protesting how illegals were treated... and there was no action taken against all of those illegals gathered in one place... It just seemed too logical at the time for law enforcement to check for credentials and when they were found to be illegal.. detained until deported..not detained and then asked to return to be deported...

In Fl they already have the dry foot law..If they hit the dry ground of the beach they can stay.. if they are caught in teh water.. they get sent straight back no entry noproceedings to deport... turn around and go back where you came from... why are people that avoid the legal process given a chance to stay here and possibly break the law again...

You must live in a different FL than I do. I've had a number of encounters with law enforcement officers - not ever for breaking any law - and I have not yet had to identify myself to them except when I was actually involved in an accident. That officer sure checked my registration and such but I don't recall having to provide any proof of my right to be present in the US.

Which is why the police should be told to only check the status of someone arrested for something. Cops are not as dumb or poorly trained as A.J makes them out to be.

that USC in the video will be standing next to a broken shop window w/ a brick in his hand while the alarm is going off when he gets the police officers attention & still scream profiling. the feds will have to act soon, if this law gets implemented...the sh!t hits the fan day 1.

For example, some are all too worried about one naturalized Hispanic being falsely identified as being illegal and greatly concerned about his rights, god forbid his freedom.

Due to ever expanding Hispanic gangs, millions of Americans can no longer simply walk in various parts of America without fear of receiving lead to their body. Apparently this is okay and also 110% Constitutional. Where is this victims freedom or rights? Oh wait they are simply collateral damage.

Even if we accept your Hispanic gang war ridden no go zone scenario, which there are some places nice folks don't go, our standard laws and law enforcement aren't able to shut down the gang activity as it is. How on earth do you think an extra law concerning residence documentation will do a damn thing to change that situation?

Newsflash, we are already Number 1 in the world with regards to incarceration rates. Jails are E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E. Some states are looking at letting current prisoners go.

So where does your genius plan get the funding to incarcerate all the these gangs of illegals prior to deportation, deportation by the way, to a country with a physical border with our country, one that can't easily or cost effectively be walled off?
