An American got scammed by a Filipino homosexual. Poor guy didn't know that he's sending money to someone he thought was a lady.

I think I have seen that in GMA news and the gay guy is from Cebu.

Karylle's picture, the daughter of Ms Padilla was also used by a scammer.

Being a female, I was more cautious. I met few men that expected me to get laid with them. I wasn't engaging them to any serious relationship with me, and no money involved. I was treating them as a local people(talking in public place). However, the 3rd guy I met was freaking out when I invited my friends over. They were ten people in one van. We were having some dinner together. It was hilarious to watch him being afraid of something.Btw, it was my practical joke.

2nd guy I met: He was so proud man. He told me that many girls chasing him. I replied that he was fortunate with it. He was keep chattering and etc most of the time. After an hour later, I told him I'm leaving. He asked me why should I go.

1st guy: almost same characteristic with 2nd guy except he was a lot handsome and hot. I gave him a credit for it. In contrast, he ended up calling and convincing me to go with him somewhere. I ditched him.

I was so proud to ditch good looking man.

I didnt have to worry about sending money to the Phils to someone possibly scamming me, because when I first met my wife online I didnt have any money... hehe. In fact, she is the one who gave ME the money! She decided if we were ever going to meet, it could be a long time before I could afford it, so she paid my round trip ticket to the Philippines, and she also paid the cost of the hotel because, in her words, "I want you to just be able to relax when you are here and not have to worry about anything". She had a really great career going on at that time as principal of an elementary school, and had to give up such job security to come here with me... And she knew all along that it was going to be a struggle financially. So... I knew that was really love.

My buddy was chatting on-line with a girl from Cebu for a while. I knew she was trouble when she would "by accident" give him some shots of her chest. I think it was a good month before I saw anything below my wife's neck on a webcam. It was funny, the girl told him one day that she didnt smoke and then not two minutes later a friend off-screen must have left a cigarette near-by because the girl picked it up out of habit and took a puff.

The scam started when she told friend she had to go to a wedding and begged him for a few bucks. I was coming to the Philippines in December of last year so he thought maybe he would go with me and meet the girl. All of a sudden she had to go to Korea for a job. She asked him to wait until June of next year. After loaning her the money earlier all the sweet talk changed into how bad she was struggling and asking him for a few bucks here and there. Friend eventually woke up and quit talking to her. I am just thinking if she has the same thing going on with a bunch of guys she could could be making some good money.

Well, I've heard a lot of scam stories, didn't personally ever fall for any, but I have the anti-scam story.

I knew my wife was a good one because she paid for her medical, her visa appt. fee, her CENOMAR, etc. Actually, I knew a long time before that because we chatted a long, long time and she never asked me for money. Later after we met I sent some once in a while to help with internet/ bills, because she had left Dubai to pursue our K1 visa and was staying in Pasay with her family while our papers processed (not much point to get a job when you're leaving in a few months). She never asked for it, and she still paid all her expenses to come here out of her savings from working in Dubai. I paid for her plane ticket and I paid for the filing fee on the K1 only.

Now she's here, we've been together almost 3 months, and no fights, no arguments, no drama, no problems; even though she's still waiting for her EAD to start working.

hello I have 2 stories for everyone!!!!

1) a good friend of mine was heading out to the phils to get married to the female he has been supporting for over a year !!!! He was traveling out there to buy some property and to marry her !!!!! Once he arrived he found out he was being scammed and she was married already to a filipino!!!! Well there was a silver lining to all of this ....the realestate person he was meeting he kept the appointment since he was going to be out there for a month ...to make a long story short they are now married and living here in phoenix. She still has her buisness and the properties they own in Manila and he is soooooo happy!!!

2) now this one is about me some may know I was on here before under a different name I was being scammed and to blind to see it at the time.... I wekk give a link to my old posts so you can see how bad it was !!!...some people here on VJ were calling me a troll because of some of the questions I was asking and I recieved alot of rude PM's!!!

Yeah... i called you a troll then coz the story sounds unbelievable. Another viewpoint, if the story of a woman (in your case) sounds unbelivable, like a troll, possibility of a scammer.

Haha you even reply to your own thread using your other ID. Well obviously that girl was not meant for you. God really have mysterious ways by giving you the right girl you really deserve.. :thumbs:

YES I DID...I wasn't lying I knew the guy!!!...lol.....It always stung a little.... that I was telling the truth and everyone was putting me down !!!! the only person who was nice in the PM's was Charles everyone else was ripping me but I let bi-gones be bi-gones!!!

I have talked to many on her through PM's that have had people use them that I was helpfull (I think) with my own past experience .....that is why I always try to have an open mind to all Situations!!!!

I was also used at one point by some Girl from Cebu, when I caught her she suddenly turned the story around and pleaded innocense then used anger at me, I come to find out later that her entire family was doing it including her mom. Such shame.
