Has anybody waited until they get their interview date before they booked their medical so they only have to make one trip to London?

Yes, me. Got interview date then called doctors who told me the exact last day I had to make the appointment before the interview (a week). They had plenty appointments. There is no avoiding having to be in London for 7 days if you're gonna do it that way.

Have they found your lost application yet? Shocking!

No still nothing I have sent all the documents over as my partner needs to add passport photos and a copy of the cashed check from the original application (luckily he can access online with his bank) then he will resend it in to Vermont this week.

From what i have read on here, it is possible to do your medical and the interview within the same 2 days in london, well you could do it the same day if your brave enough, the only outcome will be that the embassy will delay the issuance of the visa until they receive the medical results.

This could cause a delay of a couple of weeks, but if the only choice is to do them in them both in the same short space of time, it is possible.
