2) I would add "purposely"

I've entered countries before without inspection a few times.....

Well, if you go through a checkpoint and are waived through, that counts as entering with inspection. If you sneak across the border circumventing inspection, then that's what would be an EWI and that's a crime under today's law.

One was the boundary waters if you know where that is, I entered and camped in Canada which apparently was legal (I was 15 at the time.)

The other time it was a flight to the UK and there was no immigration what so ever.

That's interesting but I thought we're talking about US law on EWI.

Well I'm pretty sure that the boundary waters situation is reversible, though I could be wrong.

US / Canada travel was a different story then. I remember having been here on a VW back in the early 90's. We took a day trip to Canada - Niagara Falls - and there was no record of me ever having left the US, entered Canada, left Canada and re-entered the US. They looked at my passport and I-94 coming back from Canada but there was no stamp and anything in my passport evidencing that I had visited Canada coming from the US. None whatsoever.
