definately english.. i always believe you can get more bees w/ honey.. and the gubment can be some cold suckers if you are beligerant to them.. NOT ME OF COURSE lol....

okay question.. having a party for my sister at the house...i have not thrown a house party since i was a teenager.. i DESPISE them.. i know it depends on the crowd but i am just not into card playing and sitting up looking at everybody and nobody wanna interact..UGHHHH

so tell me you guys.. what do you like OR not like about house parties?? what makes a good one..beside the right crowd LOL

heres my list

FOOD

Good music

its funny.. i went to one not long ago.. and i came at the TAIL END... how bout it looked like no one had touched the TONS of food and she had rum, vodka, brandy, all look like it never been opened and a margarita machine.. i was ready to go when i got there.. looked like jail LOL :bonk: i didn't even wanna eat.. (and thats bad) :rofl:

I like having good mixed drinks, especially blender drinks. Snacks too cause folks be wanting to snack on stuff..

hubby just made the BADDEST kite ever for the girls dem.....he's been working on it for weeks...we gonna ice it this weekend! anybody hubby know ow fi make dem tuh?

Thats a good question Finesse, I have to ask my husband.

You wanna know whats funny.. Throughout this entire process my husband has been on the

cool calm. Never asking for anything, never stressed about anything, keeping

himself occupied all throughout the day.. Now that he actually has his EAD card in his hand, its turning him into a mad man!!! He wants a job so badly. Now I am the cool and calm one. Its crazy!yes.gif

why do you despise them?

i've never had a problem with people having a good time at my crib...i have the opposite problem in that i cant get them to leave.

my advice would be you have to be the hostess with the mostess. welcome the guests, make sure people know where the drinks are, where the bathroom is. not sure what your house is like but i always reconfigure my space a little bit to make the flow of people better. in my yard i set up different seating areas so people feel comfortable lounging wherever.

Life's Journey,

I have known that this is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with from 1 month after I met him. We may not have spoken our vows before a church or court, but we have spoken them before God over and over again. I would GLADLY marry that man tomorrow, wish I could, actually.

I chose the K1 visa because it was supposed to be the quickest way for us to be together. The 90 days means nothing to me, except that I only have 3 months to plan a wedding :help:

I would gladly spend the money 10 times over if it meant that we were certain to be together. But waivers are not easy, and I AM able to file w/ a foreign fiance.

I deserve to know why they turned him away.

Regardless, I will do whatever I have to do to get my family together. :yes:

Filing a spousal petition and spending another year or more waiting is really my LAST resort.

i guess cuz im borderline ADD LOL i just don't enjoy them, here house parties usually are ppl playing spades and dominoes and those that don't play just sitting around chatting.. i LOOOVVVVEEEEE a good African party cuz their is usually always dancing going on

i mean when its just me and a couple of friends thats cool just to chill but even then , i am trying to get a game or challenge going..

roger is the exact opposite of me, he enjoys just chilling drinking beers...

i agree with you on the spacing, i like my downstairs cuz its basically a big circle. i will need to get more chairs..for good seating like you said.. THANKS A BUNCH

make sure to have enough shot glasses too. if people get a little stiff, you could make up a reason to have a toast.. :D
