Thanks sugarapple.

Thanks for sharing this information. I appreciate your response.

Regards,

MaryLan

If you can get a letter of recommendation from your current employer before you go, it does help in the job hunting here in US.

Calling all PA/DE/MD/DC Yardies (and anyone else who'd like) I was thinking of trying to get a Yardie Link up in order sometime in August (not the last weekend because I will be in JA) and I'd like to do it in MD. Nothing fancy, just a meet up for lunch. Can anyone is MD recommend a good place for lunch, perferrably Carribean food. I just need a place. Im thinking saturday, August 14th.

Anyone down? Any suggestions?

I figure I'd start this since hubby and I have been actively meeting VJ Yardie members star_smile.gif

I'll be waiting.....

You can't wait till Sept when I will be there?

Happy Monday (NOT!)

Welcome Marylan!

I second that.

I hung out with my BFF on Friday, BF's family party Saturday, and caught up with my coolest girl-friend for a 2 hour chat Sunday on her front porch in the rain. Oh, and I got the brilliant idea to walk 4 miles in 95 degree temps Sunday morning for a snow cone. Nearly killed myself there. And, here we are again.................

finesse...I am not sure but once you mail in your paperwork and get your receipt I heard that it extends his greencard for a year. I could be totally wrong though.

That's awesome that they slept through the night...hope there is more of that to come for you.

You are correct.

Isn't it a shame. I had my lil cousins on my FB page and I had to delete them due to their swearing status updates. I even told my one cousin she should really focus on the way she looks and sounds. I told a couple of their mothers, some were upset some paid me no attention. I know one thing for certain and two for sure if anyone ever told me my son or daughter had some inappropriate language or music on their page by the time you tried to click back on their page it would be GONE!!!!

I had to lock my kids down for stupid adults pulling #######. WTH is wrong with people??????

wow, that's funny he was at Wolf Trap last week -- I though.

JAP I'm not surprised and I'm sure they sent a letter to all those applicants who filed and have interview dates June 14th and forward, right?
