JAP- were you able to get the name of the person you talked to or a supervisor there? I would make sure when he goes back he is armed with a name and phone number should he get to the gate and they refuse him.

My e-mail:

I am the petitioner #### ##### DOB: #######

Our Case #KNG##########

The Beneficiary is ###### ####### DOB: ########

My Fiance' had his original interview in March of 2010 and was denied a visa. At that time he was given a blue slip that requested he return to the embassy with an I-601 waiver and fee.

We completed all of the requested documents and he had scheduled an appointment to turn in the waiver today at 1:30 PM

He was let into the embassy, he was seen at window 9 by a white gentleman who refused to give my fiance' his name. The gentleman told him that only married couples are allowed to file for waivers and turned him away.

According to the instructions on the waiver itself this is NOT TRUE. It clearly states that K1 applicants are eligible to file an I-601 and gives specific instructions on how.

We followed these instructions explicitly.

Why was my fiance' turned away and how do we rectify this situation??

Please Advise,

JAPrincess

I asked for the name of the person I spoke to on the phone and she said it was not relevant!! :wow:

She said I could reference the day and time of the call... :wow:

Did he walk with the blue slip saying that he must return with wavier?

The email that they sent you saying that he can return from 1-3 on certain have him print it out and walk with it, so that when he reaches there they dont tell him no bull?

If can have him also walk with a print out of the instruction from the uscis website and walk with it, so that they can see what you are referencing

OMG crying.gifcrying.gif Damn them people, but the name is not relevant #######!!!!

Have him go down on Monday if he can and see what they say.

JAprincess you know we here have your back to help come up with ideas.

I am so sorry!!!
