Same girl.....I am here applying en masse for something new...haven't even told my husband, going to TRY and not tell him for a while. Can't face spoiling his holiday too...

On the plus side, just been called about doing another wedding in Jamaica, so there is sunshine yet!

Great!

Thanks for the support ya'll (F)

KJ, thanks for the info on planning a wedding on a tiny budget the other day too! I meant to respond and then I got distracted and never came back. Believe me, I will be doing all I can to save! We have decided that we want to marry in a church. Reception can be anywhere...

You're welcome :star:

:wow: As JQ would say BOOM to her too!!! Sounds like she is seriously petty!

She might not have hit ignore it might still be pending is their a way to tell?

And if not Oh well. NEXT......

Those shoes are sharp! Times like these I wish I could wear heels!!! :crying:

Why can't you wear heals?

okay VISA related QUESTION~~~~

my sis-in-law went to NCB bank in Montego Bay to try to pay the $350(ish) for the actual visa

why the hell did they tell her they were no longer accepting payments?

she had the interview letter and jaheems passport and BC

i researched vj and the embassy website last night, and it seems to me that paying at NCB is still standard

any ideas?

she's going back today.... wish us luck

ps mawnin ladies!

What? That's crazy! Let us know what happened when she went back.

Good Morning All,

Just passing through to say Hello and let you know Hubby been approved for his green card YAY! andyways I been busy at work so haven't been able to catch up. Hope all is well with everyone and hope you all have a great day!

:dance::dance::dance:

Ok, got my first interview for Tuesday!

Those are more like cleaning ladies to clean your house. What we need is someone to help go through things to either save, throw away or donate. Do those types of cleaning services offer something like that?

The first link looked like they do moving/cleaning, so they might be able to help. I suggest calling them and explaining the situation. If they can't help, they should be able to point you in the right direction

Best of luck and glad to hear that you feel better.

He will turn in the waiver package, pay a fee, and show them more proof of relationship.

They told him the processing time for a waiver is 2-4 months, so we won't know anything right away.

That reminds me, I need to e-mail him a list of questions to ask the consular...

I read in my research that the consular can't approve a waiver, but they can give their recommendation the waiver be approved to the OIC (Officer in Charge).

Any ideas on how we can politely ask for the consular's recommendation? or should we??

Or I think at Bob Evans (ya I know) they have a book with what things cost in the year that you were born. Pretty interesting to look at.

Bob Evans? Or Cracker Barrel?

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
