lol, it was dude I had talked to for a couple years and decided to visit, he was kinda chunky (not my type at all) he had a lil ####### and he tried to sleep with me on a twin bed, he snored really loud and had draws full of porno magazines with women with big boobies.

After all that he could have at least had something to work with it? Ugh!!! It was a bad time....

[ Dada yesssssssssssss lol after those years of talking to him poe thing... he wanted to be in a relationship with me oh gosh!

I remembered after talking to a guy for a while we finally got together to get it on. OMG it was horrible. His size wasn't the problem it was his pace. I swear he tried to do 50 positions in like 2 minutes. I didn't know if he was running a race or what. Needless to say I made him stop and NEVA called him again. He had the nerve to text me like what's wrong. Cha!!!

Oh yeah here go another for the records and yawl betta not laugh at me. O.k. so I was checking this guy for a while. He was chocolate and thick I mean the guy had arms, muscles and a stomach to die for. Well I finally worked up the nerve to invite him over for dinner. I cooked baked fish with salad because he told me what he likes to eat. We had a good time during diner and we sat on the couch to watch some tv. Well the president Bill Clinton at the time came on and I was like oh what does Bill have to say now. He was like Bill who, I said Bill Clinton the president. He looked at me so serious tilted his head to the side and was like ................" Dang you smart huh?" I laughed I thought he was joking. Ladies he was dead serious!!!!! I wonder how's he doing?

Hi, Shaunsgal (whenver you're next on).

MrsPalmer, I feel you. My preference is to be married for at least a year before having a child. I would also rather wait until we move from an apartment to a house, as I think that would be easier to do before having a baby. My husband, though, has no such desire to wait. He's wanted to get started on our 8 (make that 2) children since before "I do."

Thanks to Justucia for the suggestion of donating extra items to a women's shelter. I found one not too far away & dropped off my first (of many) donations today!

31293_817018935437_9600706_44322483_6390460_n.jpg

These items, valued at over $100, cost me less than $15 by "stacking" sales & coupons. The receptionist & I even had a conversation about "couponing" when she asked why I was donating.

He has never been to the US. So i dont even know what the hold up is journey..feeling helpless.

Have you emailed them?

Thanks for replying KJ. I definitely hear what you're saying...I recognize that it is never "easy" for anyone really-no matter how much money you may have, but I guess I was thinking in terms of your husband's perceptions/thoughts. Now don't get me wrong, I know that all of our men (or almost all of them) would love to have a child. I get that, but I also know how very important it is for that same man to feel like HE is providing for his child. I have all of those things as well, good job, good benefits, insurance, passion, etc...but the truth is that alot of men would have insecurities or frustrations on SOME level if they were not able to give these things to their child (or at least felt like they were able to contribute) as well...which is what I was talking about when I was talking about the super-add'l stressors. And good luck to you and the hubby on the baby-making! :star:

Oh ok I get your question now and as you said they all (or most) want a child. As far as him feeling some type way about not being able to provide for his family, we know that it'll only be temporary so it never even came up in conversation that he'd feel bad or whatever. As of now I'm the provider but will I be forever? No. When we decided to get married we both knew the financial hardships that we'd go through because he was working at rick's cafe from paycheck to paycheck but I still accepted him that way because I love him and can't let make things like that get between us... Hope I answered your question.

Gurl I was young dumb and full of.... well you know lol Just thinking about it gives me the heebie jeebies lolrofl.gifrofl.gif

Good morning everyone... Off to celebrate my nieces 3rd birthday.... have a blessed day!

Oh lord, talking bout the crazy looking ex. I dated this guy for 3 years one time, was engaged and everything but then I recognized not only is he splitting image of gary coleman (wasn't meant to be a joke, just giving a visual) but he was also a angry, control freak like gary coleman. He's still trying to be my friend on facebook.

Have fun at baby girl's party and NO drinking!!

Well my hubby wants a child I have 2 teenagers and he has a4yr old that will be coming over and living with us also. He wants to have a baby that is ours but I told him we need to wait because we haven't spend alot of time with just us and with the other kids and the adjustment for him and his daughter that isn't best at this time.

Oh ok...

Hey ladies...I see that more congratulations are in order for the ladies that have recently found out that they are pregnant! CONGRATS! I wish you all happy and successful pregnancies. But I do have a question for you, (and particularly for the ladies whose husband's have only been over here a couple of months)--although this is a very happy time for you all, do you feel like having a baby so soon after the arrival of your man has created a super-additional strain on you guys. Especially if they are not working. I know how difficult a time that was for my husband and I (his boredom and both of our frustrations, adjustments, etc), and cannot imagine what that kind of add'l stress could have done. And I know that you cannot prepare for everything, but I'm just wondering was it a concious decision on your part to try to get pregnant or was it something that "just happened". My husbands been here for 7 months now (and working for 4 mos), and we're STILL adjusting to our new way of living. And although we both want children, when we talk about it honestly, we cannot imagine having a child right now with so much other stuff going on...I would love to hear your thoughts...Be blessed

Hey Mrs P

My husbands has been here since August, we have been married 2 years next month but together since 2006. A baby has always been in the plans but not spoken about as a NOW factor. I was on BC for the first few years due to

1. wanted hubby to be here when I got preggo

2. wanted kids to be old enough for a new baby. 2 boys (13 and 11) for me and hubby's daughter will be 6 in a couple months

3. wanted good benefits for our family and a stable income ( ive been on my job since 05 and he has been on his job since oct.

4. wanted to start when the time is right.

I cant sppeak for anyone else but in my situation we are ready. mid to late 20's established and goal oriented. Alot of family support( by the way the situation with my neice has been resolved.) God a super factor in my life and ultimate love and respect for our relationship.

These are facors that should be considered. I dropped him and I from my insurance and jumped on his, Family insurance on his job is more economical. If we were not ready I would have stayed on the BC. No need for doing extra on a situation that is at a stand still.

Yes he is still adjusting and life is going to be a rollercoaster with or with out a baby so i feel that it is positive in the plans. Hope I answered your question just felt like my opinion mattered on this topic

On another note went to the ER yesterday and having some complications so please everyone keep my in your prayers, we really want this baby and God is in the mix.

Love you all

Be blessed

P.S. the dog chewed up my favorite Rocawear shoe :crying: and also hubby new Nautica sandals  he might have a new home by the end of the week.
