Hey yall!!! TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, when are my lotto #'s going to come out? When they do come out free drinks and unlimited vacations to JA for a year for everyone

Yea so my baby is 8 months today!!! Wow it was just yesterday I was being mad and pg! Yea good times.

Anyway yall been chattn it up alot today.

Any exciting plans?? I'll catch up in a min, but WELCOME KH2010!!!

CONGRATS ERIC!!!!

We should start a VJ due date pool, so many mamas around here!!

Nope, no plans at all but I can't wait for the 19th so I can meet up qith Tee and show G atlantic city for the 1t time

Hey ladies...I see that more congratulations are in order for the ladies that have recently found out that they are pregnant! CONGRATS! I wish you all happy and successful pregnancies. But I do have a question for you, (and particularly for the ladies whose husband's have only been over here a couple of months)--although this is a very happy time for you all, do you feel like having a baby so soon after the arrival of your man has created a super-additional strain on you guys. Especially if they are not working. I know how difficult a time that was for my husband and I (his boredom and both of our frustrations, adjustments, etc), and cannot imagine what that kind of add'l stress could have done. And I know that you cannot prepare for everything, but I'm just wondering was it a concious decision on your part to try to get pregnant or was it something that "just happened". My husbands been here for 7 months now (and working for 4 mos), and we're STILL adjusting to our new way of living. And although we both want children, when we talk about it honestly, we cannot imagine having a child right now with so much other stuff going on...I would love to hear your thoughts...Be blessed

Hi, your question somewhat applies to me since my hubby has been here for only 3 months and already we're trying to have a child and he's not working. I've always wanted to have kids, whether or not there would be a dad in the picture and I see it this way, if I'm suppose to prepare to have a child (such as finish school, buy house, travel the world etc) I won't start having kids until I'm near 40. I have a stable job, get paid really well, have great benefits, life insurance blah blah blah and that plus the passion to have a child and the passion to want to do great for my unborn child is enough to motivate me to do for my child when he/she comes. It will definetly be a strain but who said it would be easy, even the rich has it difficult at times. I can't speak for anyone but myself and so as of now all I need to do is stop spending so wild and start saving.

Hope I answered your question...

lol, it was dude I had talked to for a couple years and decided to visit, he was kinda chunky (not my type at all) he had a lil ####### and he tried to sleep with me on a twin bed, he snored really loud and had draws full of porno magazines with women with big boobies. I stayed with him for almost a week. It was horriblewacko.gifhelpsmilie.gif

Same thing happens with us. And Mikel is so stubborn that if they don't say good-bye or good night even he won't suck it up and say it to them. Ohhhhh and if they don't say good afternoon to him when the get home from school you would think the world ended. Now this is from Marley and Jazz so it might just be a kid thing and not defiant step child thing going on Q. Think about it...we have never had to have such a formal greeting with them for their entire lives. I would always pick Marley up from daycare/school and just start rippin and running with justher. Our hello was just seeing each other but now that Mikel is here there is more formality with greetings. Did I just make any sense at all?

Same here Sis, same here....Everything is related to respect. I just throw up my hands and grab a botttle of rum.

IDK. It is irritating though.

I don't call it corny. I call it underhanded. Like they want to trip you up. BS if you ask me.

Pure BS, they dont even let us see the medical cause when I handed the lady the envelope, she did not even ask if I would like to review it.

The least they should do is hand it back to after they open it for you to review it and make sure they dont change it.

BS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Yardies (((WAVING))) wah gwannn. What have I missed?

:ot:

My 19 year old daughter is a 36DDD and we are having a very hard time finding swim wear tops. Does anyone know where we can find cute ones. My friend says if we find one in the maternity store or a plus size one she can alter it.

That is my size and I go to Avenue and Topic and Ashley Stewart. Most DDDs don't start until 38 so it is often difficult to find,

Okay, is his name a common name? Do he have any immediate relatives here, that might be sharing his name? Call The embassy on Monday and question the time frame?

I may be wrong but I am sure you can apply for AOS but NOT an EAD. If you can apply before filing for AOS, I would be AMAZED if was BEFORE getting married! Do keep us updated though!!!! Would be nice if you CAN apply before!

i read you can apply but it would only be valid for the 90 days of the original visa

Thanks for replying KJ. I definitely hear what you're saying...I recognize that it is never "easy" for anyone really-no matter how much money you may have, but I guess I was thinking in terms of your husband's perceptions/thoughts. Now don't get me wrong, I know that all of our men (or almost all of them) would love to have a child. I get that, but I also know how very important it is for that same man to feel like HE is providing for his child. I have all of those things as well, good job, good benefits, insurance, passion, etc...but the truth is that alot of men would have insecurities or frustrations on SOME level if they were not able to give these things to their child (or at least felt like they were able to contribute) as well...which is what I was talking about when I was talking about the super-add'l stressors. And good luck to you and the hubby on the baby-making! :star:
