Glad you all had a good time. Did your husband go?

Yes he did, for whatever reason I forgot to mention that he went.

Hey Yardies, just dropped into to say a couple things...

Thank you JaE about the name. Didn't even think about it. Second, I got a call from the assist principal and they are going to attempt to search for it one last time tomorrow. If not, they are ready to reimburse us. I am grateful.

Third, had a great time with the The Thompsons and KJ and her hubby, her cousin and her hubby, and the Thompson's friend. I didn't end up getting home until 4:30. My brother came to pick us up in my car and had an accident. My car will be going back into the shop AGAIN *sigh*.... Hope everyone has a great day.

KJ, tell your cousin hi for me. I loved hearing her talk. She was so warm and friendly. I wouldnt mind hanging with you and her again! :)

Oh wow, sorry to hear about that. We got in exactly midnight! I was soooo tired! But it was worth it all. Now I know how easy it is to go to philly me and G can stop by 1 weekend, this weekend we're going to Dorney Park in PA. He's excited because he's never been to an adventure park so I can't wait to see how he'll handle the rides..

Lol at my cousin and her crazy self. On our way home we took the wrong bus and me and G were arguing, this girl and her husband was dancing and singing IN THE RAIN! Gotta love 'em  She's leaving in a few so I will let her know what you said...

I also wanted to thank SunRay because she suggested the place we ate at. Shout out to Dallas BBQ the food was delicious.... also my crazy husband told them it was his birthday so they sang to him and bought him out some cornbread with whipped cream! headbonk.gifrofl.gif Brooke encouraged him too.. Thanks Brooke lmao

Yes, big shout out to sunray!

MrsTee, that's good they'll reimburse you. Did Rashida come out on the assistant principal or was he being logical?

Whipped cream on cornbread?

It sounds weird but that cornbread was GOOD!

Today @ CVS and Walgreens I spent $11.49 on $169.76 of product. Here's a pic of what I got:

WOW, I saw all those coupons but I don't use most of those products. That's good, I'm still trying to master this savings thing. I just ordered my wedding thank you cards w/ photo on it and googled a coupon so I got 20 cards for around $10.

No actually he called me personally but I missed the call. When he does what he needs to do I will formally apologize to him personally and via email. He is usually an on point assist principal. I just didn't appreciate the fact they kept brushing me and my daughter off.

One thing I always try to remember is that I will be a teacher soon, but Im a parent first. I just don't want them to treat my child any kinda of way. She can be a push over sometimes and I just wanted her to get her phone back. Her school tends to show favortism towards the caucasion students (not making this into a racial thing) but its a harsh reality. She needs her phone. Thats all I wanted. Ive seen them give detention for certain clothing the black children wear and the caucasion females get away with really short shorts and they get away with it.

Also there was an incident in her middle school where they went on a class trip and one of the mother's and her daughter kept calling my daughter the "n" word and nothing was ever done.... yall know i was gonna stalk the mother and whoop her butt, but then i'd have criminal charges on my record lol.

Good morning all:

On my way to the shop AGAIN. My brother was driving my car to pick Steve and I up after our NYC trip and he hit a car. The young man was in the Police Academy, 22 yrs old and they cited him for a DUI. I will be suing his insurance company. Going to obtain legal counsel. Ugh...

I hope everyone has a great day.

Glad you're getting the phone back one way or the other. It was the ONLY thing to do.

Did your brother hit the car or the car hit him??

Guess the other driver's career is over before it began!

Sigh....US issues travel alert fro Jamaica....

http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/05/22/jamaica.travel.alert/index.html?eref=igoogle_cnn

(CNN) -- The U.S. State Department issued a travel alert for Jamaica on Friday, citing unconfirmed reports of criminal gang members amassing in Kingston and the mobilization of Jamaican defense forces.

"The possibility exists for violence and/or civil unrest in the greater Kingston metropolitan area," the alert said.

"If the situation ignites, there is a possibility of severe disruptions of movement within Kingston, including blocking of access roads to the Norman Manley International Airport," according to the alert.

"The possibility exists that unrest could spread beyond the general Kingston area," the alert said.

The U.S. Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica's capital, is taking extra security precautions, according to the alert, which expires June 21.

"American citizens should consider the risks associated with travel to and within the greater Kingston metropolitan area," the alert said. "U.S. citizens in Jamaica are advised to monitor local news reports and consider the level of security present when venturing outside their residence or hotel."

The United Kingdom on Thursday updated its travel advisory for British citizens in Jamaica.

The British Foreign Office urged UK citizens to take extra care when traveling away from their homes or hotels due to the "increased risk of civil disorder and street violence in Kingston" and potentially other urban areas.
