New Visa Fees for US ...Worldwide

THE United States will be increasing visa fees worldwide, including Jamaica, effective Friday June 4.

All persons whose interviews fall on or after that date must pay the new fees. Applicants with interviews scheduled for June 4 and who have already paid according to the old fee schedule must now return to NCB to pay the difference for their applications to be processed.

Under the new fees petition-based visas cost more than non-petition based visas.

New fee scehdule:

Non-petition-based visas:

Visitor (B1/B2) US$140

Crewmember (C1/D) US$140

Student visas (F1 and M1) US$140

Treaty Trader/Investor (E1 or E2) US$390

Petition-based visas:

Temporary skilled workers (H-1B) US$150

Temporary seasonal workers (H-2B) US$150

Intra-company transferees (L1) US$150

Performers (O and P) US$150

Fiancé-based visas (K) US$350

So will I have to pay the different from what I paid originally

Why did I almost break my printer yesterday. I was putting in a new black ink cartridge and wondered why it was so much harder than usual to put in. It took a few minutes, but finally I got it in. Then the computer says "Wrong ink cartridge in tri-color slot." :( I realized that I'd put the black ink in the color ink slot. :bonk: Why would the cartridge NOT come out!!! I tried for about 30 minutes. Steven tried for quite some time. I looked online & HP's website said that I should get a replacement printer.

My poor fingers were black & rubbed raw from scraping against the printer parts. Finally I gave up & started pricing new all-in-one printers.

Today, Steven tried with pliers & got it out in about 5 seconds. Lots of lessons learned from that experience.

I think we touched some parts that shouldn't have been touched, because the quality of the prints went down a bit.

That sucks...

On another note, I went to walgreens and bought $32 worth of stuff and only spent $7 out of pocket, I'm not quite there with the savings yet bit I'm getting there, I literally can't wait to get the newspaper delivered on weekends, especially that I get it early saturday mornings. Thanks Nat :star:

Why do people INSIST on bringing Rashida out of memad.gif One of the teachers took my daughter's cell phone because SUPPOSEDLY when she was switching it from her back pocket to the front the teacher took it. It was either take it or be suspended for 3 days. Now, cool, I understand that but THEY LOST HER PHONE. She has a touch-screen phone... about to call the principal now... ugh mad.gif

Oh no that's foolishness, wake up Rashida!!

Ohhhh MrsTee make them pay.

Sus I was having a really hard time last weekend and since being back at work I am doing a little better. Dreading this weekend since it is his birthday on Sunday. My Mom is having a hard time too she is picking up his ashes today so it is going to be a very hard day for her.

Awwww, only time will heal mama!

Hello everyone.

Haven't signed on in ages. Things went downhill with Lance and I. He never even got his passport or anything for us to continue with the CR1. I've decided to file for a divorce. Has anyone done this before or have any idea how I can go about doing so?

Hope all is well with everyone else.

- Marie

So sorry Marie (F)

I tried to find information last night. If I am understanding correctly you can file for divorce here in the US if you registered your marriage here.

Here are a few links I found:

At the bottom of this one there are links by state for "Self Help Divorce Guides and Forms"
