But! you have time on your side! You are still young and can retain more than I can! lol You can do it..Im even going for my master's after this. I found out that Temple has a graduate program that lets you study abroad and guess where one of the places is? JAMAICA!!!!

You can do it!!!! smile.gifgood.gif

Learning is fun.... *whispering, except for math* lmao.. and do you know I helped my nephew with his math last night. He is in 1st grade. He is the sweetest. He counted all his change to pay for his trip to the zoo. It costs 15.00 and he had 18.00. He was going to give his teacher all that change!laughing.gif My sister told him she will take it to the coin machine so he can get dollars and then pay for half and she will pay for the other half .... so cute!

You're far too sweet hon. I got into Temple but you know who *hubby* isnt comfortable with that. Im plannin on finishing this bachelors next year and then on to my Master's- given no kids.

When we gonna hang out together?

Congrats KJ... got my degree yesterday for Associates in Liberal Arts too along with my Biometrics letter(s)... Good week for us all

Congratulations! :star:

So last week in the mail, I received a letter from the Education Department that they were going to let me continue on with my classes, admit me to the school of education, and they gave me a fee waiver form so I don't have to pay for the test because Ive taken it so many times! Yay! and I can continue my full class load. I have to maintain a 3.0 which I already have and take the test before I graduate. So Ive decided to try again in August.

Another friend of mine who is already a teacher told me to use the GED math book and You Tube any subject in math Im having a hard time in. The math test has 4 components. Where I keep going wrong is in algebra and probability. So Ive been You tubin it up and Its getting better for me. So there you have it!

That's great MrsTee!

I just took Nat’s suggestion on how to get started and last week instead of throwing out the circulars, I looked through them. I usually stick to my favorite brands and stores to shop but this week seeing what was on sale I went with the sale items instead. I brought things I would usually get but paid less by 1. waiting until they came on sale and 2. buying the sale item instead of my brand…they’re usually all the same ingredients anyhow. So for example this week Kodak batteries were on sale a 20pk AA or AAA for $2.99 which is usually $7.99. I buy my kids batteries all the time but I go to the $ Store. It was nice to get the 20pk instead of the 12 I would have gotten for $3 at the $ Store. Also Post cereal were on sale 3 boxes for $5, they are regularly $3.49 and up. I usually only see them on sale 2/$5 at Rite Aid but getting them at the market proved better this week. There were a lot of deals like that and I could go on but I won’t bore anyone with details. Basically, I listened to Nat and taking baby steps, I planned my shopping around this weeks sales and it worked. If I had coupon I could only imagine the savings.

Oh ok.

Morning VJ :star:

See me here: computer-20.GIF

I miss my honey :crying:

I feel your pain when I look at your smiley but at the same time it's so funny! Soon mama!

Oh my goodness for christ sake go on and share! You won't offend me, I won't read it if I don't want to see it sheesh headbonk.gifrofl.gif

I guess maybe because Im older, Ive been shopping this way for years so it doesn't come as a surprise to me and well I guess you younger folks are excited! More power to you.. This is an open forum so if you wanna discuss coupons go rite ahead!

Congrats KJ on your Assoc. it is a wonderful feeling I just graduated also in Business and I can not get the motivation either.

But let us think of it this way, it will land us a better paying job more money more money can never have to much.

Thank you but unfortunately in the field of social work you must have a bachelors or a masters but I'm gonna get it though because it's my passion to help abused and neglected kids, I just have to, even if it's the last day of my life

Congratulations and I hope you find the motivation
