Yay for freedom! :lol: What are you studying in school (if you don't mind my asking), and what kind of volunteer work are you interested in? That's something that I'm hoping to find time to do soon--volunteer.

Yay for freedom! :lol: What are you studying in school (if you don't mind my asking), and what kind of volunteer work are you interested in? That's something that I'm hoping to find time to do soon--volunteer.

Im doing Organizational Management Degree Completion... I.E. Accelerated and fast track.

Im tired lol. I'm looking into Volunteering at one of husband's jobs (his supervisor is interested in hiring me so I thought to volunteer until I can work)

Sorry you had to leave him behind again, hope the visa come soon and you can all be together...

I have a question regarding how you were able to leave your son with his father...

Did you just fly down with the boy in your lap and leave him?? Did your son need paperwork from Jamaican immigration? Was he not there long enough? I think it's now only 3 months you can get your passport stamped for...

Not sure I could ever leave my baby in JA, but I am curious how you did it.

Seems like you came back to the forum at a time when it's in slow-mode.

I'm cooking some chicken thighs, rice, & veggies for dinner. I used browning for the first time. Not sure how I was SUPPOSED to use it, but I think I put way too much.

Jus a few drops i use soy sauce n ketchup too....hope u all r havin a good monday

Hey Princess.. My son is I carried him down at 18 months so I only had to pay to taxes to the airline cause it is an international flight.

How I left trust me it took some serious thinking, but I was there for a while after my son was born and Then I went back just before he made one for a two week vacation so I was able to see his father in action with him and he is very particular. For me he lives in the country and I mean country, but he was very particular about what he ate he prepared all his food and he did not leave him up to the responsiblity of cousins in the yard or his mother. When I went back down my son look healthy. plus I carried all his over counter medicine such ad bendrayl, tynelol and different things so that he would not have to worry about him being there.

Also they land you for three months but you really have six months before you have to go and register the child, but oh well I dont think that will be happening as he will not be there that long it has been 2 months now.

oh he flew in my lap and when I entered they asked my why I was there I said for my son the visit with his father who is a yardie.
