I'm curious............for all the members that have been approved the past 7 days or so..........did anyone receive an unusually "high" amount of touches before your approval or did the approval just come out of no where?????

We were touched 2 days in a row and then approval. Good Luck!

2005-02-08: met in yahoo

2005-02-20: started talking on the phone

2005-06-24: met for the first time in Hongkong

2005-06-25: engagement!!!

2005-08-10: started working on the annulment

2005-10-17: first visit in the philippines

2006-02-28: Got my final decree of the annulment

2006-03-03: second visit in the philippines

2006-03-16: sent I-129F to CSC

2006-03-24: received NOA1

2006-06-23: received IMBRA RFE

2006-06-24: third visit in the philippines to celebrate

our anniversary

2006-07-06: IMBRA RFE reply

2006-07-28: Touched!

As you can see below.............I was touched several times, then nothing for about a week and approved. I've noticed from several others they had a similar pattern of several touches and a week of nothing before getting approved.

When did they receive your RFE response? I was touched 3 days in a row (including the one touch for notification of receiving my RFE response) after I got the notification they received my RFE, the last touches being July 13th.

Then I wasn't touched again on August 3rd, and approved the same day

True, we've gotten a few touches and then nothing for quite sometime.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

I thought I got one, but it turns out it was the approval and the email took a day to get to me, but my lawyer got notice and then I looked again and saw that my online status changed to approval. So no, no extra touches.

March 9 - filed I-129F to Nebraska

March 15 - NOA#1

June 1 - transferred to CSC

July 11 - IMBRA RFE back with CSC

August 3 - NOA#2

August 6 - touched

I really feel for you, especially since we are using the same service center and embassy. Our petition showed no touches, unless you consider the RFE being sent and the reply as being touches. I just got emails letting me know the petition was finally approved.

March 29, 2006: mailed the I-129f form after getting all the documents translated and prepared

April 07, 2006: NOA-1

June 30, 2006: IMBRA RFE received by me

July 07, 2006: IMBRA RFE received by CSC

Aug 01, 2006: NOA-2

Aug 15, 2006: receipt from NVC stating they have the approved petition

Aug 25, 2006: email from US Embassy in Moscow, interview scheduled for Oct 16 @ 8:00 am

Sep 29, 2006: packet 3 finally received at old address even though we notified the NVC and Moscow Embassy of the new address.

October 16, 2006: Interview She passed

October 26, 2006: Arrival Date in the United States

November 09, 2006: Married

January 01, 2007: Moved from Florida to Kansas City (job related, not by choice)

January 12, 2007: Mailed paperwork for AOS, EAD, travel

January 18, 2007: Chicago received petitions

February 06, 2007: Biometrics appointment
