Yeah now that you mentioned it.....she wants to do some clothes shopping in Cebu (much cheaper there than here)and needs to buy some suicases. She is still a bit shocked that she was approved so quickly and was expecting 5-6 month wait.. But very happy to come to her new home sooner...

God I got to clean up around the house..... :help:

I just talked to Wilma, she just passed her interview and said it was basically easy like everyone described and she felt that she worried way too much before the interview. She did say the pre-screener was a little mean and asked tougher questions than the CO. I told her to be completely honest and smile and God will guide us. She said the CO just asked a few questions, took my 134 and looked at it, then asked about our photos and that was it, he said welcome to the USA, you passed! But many thanks to everyone that helped answer all my questions....such a great resource we have here!! WoooHooo my baby is coming home on May 13....

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Well done!! My fiancee will be having her interview this mid of May and I will be flying back home to attend her interview. I am getting ready all my documents here. But I have a big question. You have mentione that the CO asked about your photos. In our case, this will be the second time I will be seeing my fiancee. The first time I saw her was last Sept 2009, which we do have lots of pictures which I used for our I129F application. From thereon, we dont have pictures together but we have emails, couple of cards, money remmittance and phone bills which we used a lot for our communication since she doesnt have a computer. I am not sure if I can use the same picture we used to file for our I129F petition application. We can take some pictures right after I arrive in Manila and used it to her interview. I am really afraid that CO will ask pictures from the time we file the petition to the interview event. I really need help here. :help::help: Will this be crucial? :help::help:

CONGRATULATIONS to both of you...so jealous though.I think our documents are officially lost between USCIS and NVC, :( :( :angry:NVC keep on saying its still in USCIS but USCIS said they forwarded it already to NVC... :(

You should have your USC fiance call your congressman or senator. I was in the same issue as you. I was approved on march 4. Then on april 19 my approved petition was "amended". So for almost 2 months my package was just sitting at USCIS. So finally my congressman e-mailed and they just a few days after they finally sent it and now my petition is on its way to the embassy. So if you haven't contacted a congressman or senator yet, do it coz for me and for others it helped.

We used the same photos from our 129F petition. We took lots of pics of us together and some with her family and us together. You'll be fine! They won't ask for a timeline of photos, they just want to see you guys together and happy. Photos are only secondary evidence, but almost every CO spends the most time looking at them and asking questions about the photos.

I knew there was another besides bainbridge558 that had the disappearing petition from USCIS/NVC...and used the congressman to make it reappear.
