EDISON — A masked robber attacked an Edison gas station worker early Saturday morning before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

The 60-year-old worker at Edison Fuel Stop, 690 Route 1, told police he was in the attendant’s booth at 3 a.m. when the man approached holding some type of metal rod, Lt. Donald Merker said. The bandit then struck him in the head with the rod and took cash from the victim’s inside pocket before running toward East Side Avenue.

The victim refused medical attention, Merker said. He was unable to give police a complete suspect description.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
