Hi someone from the Philippines please reply. Does the cfo put the sticker on the passport or the visa? Also does the passport change at all while at the US embassy. I mean do they just give it back to the applicant or do they issue a new one? My fiancee wants to go to cfo before her interview and she has her passport. Thanks for any replies.

11-23-2009 NOA-1 Hard copy received.
2-26-2010 NOA-2 on USCIS Dashboard.
03-02-2010 NVC recieved our petition.
03-08-2010 NOA-2 hard copy received
03-08-2010 Snail mail notice from NVC
03-14-2010 Called Manila Embassy and scheduled interview.
03-15-2010 Fiancee going to apply for JP police certificate(race to get before interview).
4-6-2010 Fiancee went for first day at St. Lukes medical (please no sputum test).
4-7-2010 Medical complete all was successful. :D
4-20-2010 Police certificate received.
04-29-2010 Approved!!!
05-5-2010 Visa delivered.
05-7-2010 Cfo seminar complete/sticker received.
05-24-2010 POE Detroit. :D
06-08-2010 Married. :D

08-08-2010 NOA1 I-485,I-765 arrive via usps.
09-?-? Forget the date but EAD and Interview notice received.

it's on another page in the passport. If it was on the visa you couldnt see part of it. The CFO needs to see and have a copy of the visa though...She can do the seminar, but has to go back to register and get the sticker. That is what Mhay had to do..she showed me her passport and sticker. The passport is the same one that she will take and give to St. Lukes. St. Lukes will stamp it and the visa will take up a whole page in the passport.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

She can do the seminar without her passport though.

:thumbs: Yep, Wilma did the CFO seminar at PRISM in Manila after St Luke's medical. She lives in Cebu and didn't want to deal with the difficult Nuns at St Mary's CFO there for the seminar. But now she can take her passport to CFO in Cebu and (without issue) get a stamp after she get's the passport/visa back from the embassy. She has her yellow CFO seminar certificate.

CFO sticker will be stamped on her passport but not right on the visa.

Embassy doesn't change nor issue a new passport, they just put/stamp visa on it. DFA is the only one that can change/issue a new one.

Your fiancee can do the seminar before/after the interview. However, having the seminar with the visa in hand is more convenient. No second trip needed.
