Very interesting that so many seem to be upset over this?? Am I the only "white man" that is asked for his ID to open a bank account, get a drivers license, write a check, use a credit card??? I have had to show police my ID many times. So the issue is no one wants ID's????? I know of no one that does not carry an ID.

Thus proves that just because someone's status is legal or made legal, does not change or improve the situation for everyone else. In the example of the UK, it made it worse for Brits.

It was in response to your insinuation that speed cameras have little to do with revenue raisin in inner-cities. I like speed cameras and red light cameras as they do save lives, however, the corner to corner coverage in ghettos has little to do with saving lives and more to do with revenue. If it was about saving lives, surely they would start with focusing on people being gunned down daily or robbed in broad daylight.

I see Cleo, people losing their income because they cannot possibly compete with legal polish immigrants willing to do it for half the price does not prove anything - nothing at all. Perhaps, the addition of even more immigrants will improve the quality of life of people in the UK. Unfortunately, the UK is sliding on most international studies ranking such dimensions. Also interesting that the majority of the countries that offer and provide a high quality if life have an extremely small population.

Just make a photocopy of whatever ID you have to prove your citizenship/LPR status, put it next to your Driver's License and voila, problem solved! Don't get your knickers in a bunch for nothing.
