I did some stupid (I think). I sent in with my I-130 a years worth of phone records showing our conversation, but I did not black out any other #s on the phone bill. Does anyone think they will call the other #s? If they do it's not a problem, but I was just wondering if anyone else out there has made that same mistake.

I doubt if they are going to call anyone from that phone bill. Did you highlight the numbers that belong to you and your spouse?

I wouldn't worry too much I doubt they have time to call numbers on your phone bill. They'd have to be seriously suspecting fraud to go to that much trouble and i'm not sure they legally could anyway.

I read somewhere last year when I was filing that they don't like you blacking out account numbers etc... Since they have all your personal info anyway. We actually sent copies of the front of our joint credit cards, my husband was like I doubt the govt are going to go shopping with our info... Plus they wouldn't have the back numbers on the card even if they'd wanted to.

I'm not advocating not blocking stuff out if you're at all worried, but in our case it's been six months and the IO's haven't gone shopping online yet with our credit card info! So i'm sure your phone bills are fine too... :thumbs:

Actually, come to think of it; I did the same thing I just sent a huge package with montly Telus bills and I didn't even bother to blank out other names nor did I highlight which ones were our conversations. Ha. I just left everything but it's pretty clear 95% of the calls were to Arizona soooooo....but I had no issues, no problems etc. :no:
