My future sister in-law is gonna co-sponsor me.. What i want to ask is the supporting evidence that's required. Is bank statements neccessary? when you have all the other supporting evidence like pay stubs, letter from employer & tax returns. Thanks for any help on this one... Just want to make sure with everything.

We first met online 2004, but things started to get serious in Dec 2007. Made my first visit to the USA in march 2008 for 2 weeks. Then returned again in Aug 2008 for 3 months.. Then i came back to the UK for 5 months to return back to the USA April 2009 for another 3months.

TIMELINE

I-129f filed: 06/01/10

NOA1 received: 07/01/10

NOA2 received: 13/04/10

NVC received: 16/04/10

Left NVC: 19/04/10

Consulate Received: 21/04/10

Rec Instructions Pkt3: 23/04/10

Complete Instructions Pkt3: 24/05/10

Rec App. Letter Pkt4: 09/06/10

Medical Date: 30/06/10

Interview Date: 30/07/10

Interview Results: APPROVED

Received Visa: 13/08/10

If the income from the tax returns, pay stubs and letter of employment exceed the 125% of the poverty line for the number of people to support, then bank statements are not needed.

I do have another question to ask regarding Q11: should my future sister in-law tick the I Intend or the I Do Not Intend? i really do need good advice on this one.. As there's so many conflicting things being said about it.

She really needs to check (check in American, tick in English) the I intend box. Especially if your fiance is not able to contribute financially at this time. They should still both check intend. The two I-134s need to be checked (ticked) the same.

I would not recommend writing on the lines specific cash ammounts. Perhaps a few general clauses such as I intend to provide for food, housing assistance, some clothing or other essentials as necessary...

Just a suggestion, IMHO.
