Hi Everyone.. I need to send in current forms of I-129F and G-325A for Fiance Petition.. When I go to the USCIS website to fill out forms for I-129F there is only ONE (1) copy and ONE (1) of the G-325A.. I thought that there had to be THREE (3) of the I-129F (and maybe even the G-325A).. Since the forms have been revised, is only 1 original copy what is required now? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for help!

Hi...someone will correct me if I am wrong but I think the short-cuts was meaning for you to PRINT out three copies of each form...Send 3 copies to your Fiancee and have him sign them....he keeps one copy for himself and send you the other two copies back...this safeguards so that when you the Choice of Agent/Petitioner mails these forms to USCIS....if one gets LOST, you will have another for back-up to send to them. USCIS loses and misplaces forms, etc due to so many files and moving around from desk to desk I have read here.....He keeps one incase he goes to his interview and needs one or needs one for his records. .but I think you are to print two 325-A...one for you and one for spouse to fill out..use this short-cut to understand and help..... Thank you for the short cut, it didn't help and only seemed to address "marriage" and not the "fiance".. Thank you.. I'll just send 3 copies of each like I did before.. I sent 3 copies to USCIS, 1 copy for me and 1 copy for him.. If I send too many, they can throw it out.. I'd rather send more than less..

You only need to sent ONE I-129F. Regarding the G325A you send ONE for EACH of you. But make at least two copies of your whole petition package. One to send to your fiance and one to keep for yourself in case USCIS loses the original.

I'm the USC petitioner.

The 'shortcut' referred to is not related to the K-1/Fiancé process and you do not need to send 3 copies of any form to USCIS.

You should however keep a complete copy for your records, later (as suggested by the Guides)you may send your fiancé a copy for them to review. Otherwise you may just be complicating things a bit.

I sent in four copies with my application and it was approved.

Thank you everyone for your help.. I have read over and over again on USCIS site and it doesn't say anything about multiple copies, just originals for each of us.. Knowing me and my OCD, I'll send in 2 originals with the entire file and make 2 exact duplicate copies.. Thank you again one and all!
