2010-04-19 - AOS Form Delivered to NVC, DS-3032 resent

2010-04-22 - DS-3032 accepted FINALLY!

2010-04-22 - IV Fee Bill generated and IN PROCESS!

2010-04-26 - IV Packet 3, DS230 (Packet 3) recieved, Wifey can FINALLY get PCC from Stupid Bureaucratic AMD PO! only an appt./checklist letter will work... booo!

2010-04-28 - IV Packet sent! recieved updated ds230 (02-2010 edition) from wife

2010-05-04 - FALSE RFE for DS-230 (checklist letter); wife was able to use this "checklist" to apply for the passport office PCC (absolutely ridiculous!)

2010-05-04 - IV Packet entered into AVR

2010-05-14 - RFE according to AVR!!! Passport Office PCC required... called NVC... they said this will be "supervisor review" :( :(

2010-05-21 - SIF!!!@ 1:55PM PST

2010-05-24 - Interview on July 13th, 2010! Thank you god!

2010-06-15 - Medical

2010-06-29 - Submit docs at VFS office.

2010-07-13 - Interview at Mumbai embassy - APPROVED!

2010-08-13 - POE @ SFO

Just recieved the ds-230 from my husband in the mail, and he didn't sign part 1.

Will they take it without his signature, and let him sign it at interview?

Has anyone else had this problem?

What should I do?

CR-1 Timeline

2009-12-29: Mailed I-130 package to Chicago

2010-01-04: package arrived at USCIS

2010-01-12: NOA1 arrived Case sent to CSC

2010-03-22: NOA2 approval email and letter recieved

2010-03-24: called NVC got NVC#

2010-03-26: NVC message verified paperwork sent on the 25th

2010-03-29: Got email from NVC and paid AOS fee.

2010-04-01: AOS fee shows paid, and receive and paid IV Bill

2010-04-05: IV bill shows paid and NVC mailed packet

2010-04-26: Mailed I-864

2010-05-06: AVR stated recieved I-864

2010-05-14: NVC email stating need ds230

2010-05-27: AOS/DS-230 Mailed

2010-06-17: case complete!

2010-06-22: sign in failure!

2010-06-24: Interview date received Aug 9th 9am

2010-07-21: Medical Exam-PASSED!

My lawyer prepared our DS-230 and said my husband would sign part 1 and 2 at the interview. I was very surprised because on VJ everyone has their SO sign part 1 but she said it wouldn't be a problem with NVC.

Yuen, regular paper is fine. It doesn't have to be albums. Just so that the pics are clearly you and him and other important people together and you can tell where you were and what you were doing. How you organize it is up to you.

i wonder where was the lawyer reading the directions from...but from what i know is that beneficiary is required to sign part I only 2nd part signatures at the interview..

2010-04-19: approved online wohoooo

2010-04-24: NOA2 hardcopy received

2010-04-26: gave 2 email addresses and assigned case #

2010-04-27: received/sent ds3032, AOS bill

2010-05-01: IV bill became available online/paid

2010-05-06: sent in DS230 package via express mail 9:07am

2010-05-11: NVC acknowledges the receipt of AOS on 05/05

2010-05-13: operator told me that AOS sent to supervisor for review....

2010-05-14: AVR changes to received the checklist letter response on 5/13

2010-05-23: RFE for original birth cert. (i did sent original).......arghhh

2010-05-24: BC under review by some department

2010-06-02: sent in original BC again and previous BC is still under review

2010-06-10: NVC recognizes BC into their system

2010-06-15: BC under review

2010-06-21: SIF!!!!!omggggg soo happy 57 days in NVC process

2010-06-28: interview on Aug. 19, 8am.

2010-08-19: interview went fine but he's put into AP :(

2011-01-09: almost 5 months in AP "still pending"

2011-02-06: 5 and half months and still counting......when is this torture going to end....

2011-02-20: 6 months still no answer..........

2011-03-08: more than 200 days passed in AP..................(

2011-03-24: visa has been issued today. hurayyyyyyyyyy finally wait is overrrr.
