Thanks Gujjugirl. I would have never call the NVC unless you post your interview date. I Got my date for July 29th 8am Chennai India. Good luck guys. You all will get call sooner.

RabRiz: My case was completed on May 18. The message on the AVR still displays the message of "Case Complete." It hasn't changed to reflect that I was assigned a date. I called up NVC to inquire about whether they assigned an interview date and surprisingly I was told it was for July 16. I see from your timeline, that your CC was on May 19. Perhaps your interview date will be assigned soon, hopefully tomorrow or later on this week. I will definitely post something on the thread that you started. Good luck to you.

The AVR wont say that the interview is schedulle..the next message will say that the case is being forwarded to your embassy

It just says it received my RFE response checklist almost a month after I sent it in.

Course it's actually my own fault. Doesn't mean I can't #itch about it though. :devil:

Hi everyone, important questoin. The other day i had a virus in my yahoo account and it sent everyone in my yahoo contact list an email with a link, including the NVC. They wrote me back and said we can only answer replies with the required information. Now does everyone think i should send them an email explaining to them that i never emailed them and this was a virus in my yahoo account? Or do you think they know this and dont need me to explain? I dont want our case to get ruined as we have a sign in failure page now. Did i confuse them with my virus email that i didnt send?

You would think they have a spam blocker. If it is what I think it is, it should have been filtered out with their spam blocker. I don't think its anything to worry about.

It is definitely like that in Nigeria, Lagos is notorious but I'm just staying positive. No use in worrying over something I can't change. I plan to just be as prepared as humanly possible and let God do all the rest! Do you feel prepared?
