Yeah, my expectations are probably not realistic, but heres to hoping.

Where is the time going? My husband is getting on my case because I'm not giving him that much attention...lol. I try to blow him off cuz I'm so focused on all the things I've got to do. Finished doing the last of my shopping to day, I am beat. Tomorrow, I have to do laundry, pack and go to the school to do some work for my program evaluation presentation which is Monday all day. I don't think there even going to pay us. And to top it off, the dresses I bought are a tight! lol My moms asks me why didn't I schedule my flight earlier....I was like "uhhhhh I don't know"...lol I guess I was pretty desperate at that point to see my husband. Salam everyone, how do you track your case going to the embassy? We dont mail it NVC does, so how would i track it? Also, we finally got our sign in failure page this past week, i updated my signature. Im so happy finally. We have been in the NVC stage since October 2009. So hopefully my husband passes his interview. Do i need to send him copies of all the documents sent to NVC to have for his interview?

Your case won't go to the embassy until NVC assigns an interview date for you. Then you can call the operator and ask if it's been sent yet.

Regarding documents, I would send him a copy of every single piece of paper you have ever sent to a government agency regarding him. I-130, I-864, DS-230, everything. Along with any and every thing he has ever sent you: cards, e-mails, photos, all of it.

Anyone else considering buying their tickets from asaptickets.com? Or has anyone used this site?

The prices are so much lower, but I am still a little worried about not buying from the airline directly. But I have a little time to decide while I wait for hubby's date. Maybe I will call them tomorrow and ask a few questions!

No, Ma'am. They don't have to be notarized. They can if you want them to be or if you think it will help. If it's a sworn statement, though, then you'll want it notarized. Letters aren't sworn statements, though.

OK, I'm really quite confused at the moment.

A few months ago, we received an RFE for:

1/ My fingerprint check from Aus police

2/ More financial evidence for my wife, and;

3/ My mother-in-laws form was incorrectly filled.

We haven't done anything since then as we have been waiting for my fingerprints to come back.

Yesterday, we received a NEW checklist with ONLY:

My mother-in-laws form was incorrectly filled.

I haven't called NVC for a while, but I thought I'd call today to check the AVR to see where we were at.

Apparently our case was complete on 05/20/2010 - Thursday just gone. What the?

So, I will be calling an operator tmorrow to see what the deal is.

Mind you, we have not sent anything in for any of our RFE's. They must have been sick of waiting for us!? hahaha

if the AVR said case complete, odds are your case is done! congrats! just call and confirm!

I see. I have tracked a package going to my embassy on May 12th which was the day I had my case complete. But AVR didn't change from case complete to package received by embassy. I haven't asked an operator about if they sent my package to the embassy. May be on Monday morning I will call and find out.

if you don't have an interview date yet, it has not been forwarded yet. after they send you the interview email they will forward it to the embassy. how quickly that happens varies! so you can start calling and asking i would say a week after you get your interview set!!! good luck!!!
