You might want to rethink a bit on this one - I suggest routing INTO NYC (as an end stop for ctrip.com ) then have other domestic leg that you purchase seperately, going to Vermont. The english version of ctrip.com doesn't have the 'special deals' in it, and sometimes you've got to talk with a human at the ctrip customer service desk.

Darnell, I was thinking about similar for my mom. Do you think it's cheaper? I did a quick search, but I did not spend a lot of time on it.

Thanks, RPS. I found out what the problem was. That information was actually missing because I had to include the Ds-230 form in another package. They accepted all the civil documents and are currently reviewing the DS-230 form.

I got, in writing, that police certificates are not required if one has lived in another month for less than 12 months! Finally!! No certificate from Italy, yeah!

I hope for you a SIF very soon!!!

I'm so happy!! They started reviewing my mom's DS-230 form (not the whole package) 2 days ago. I hope they will finish this review by the end of the month. They have accepted everything else, and I made sure to fill out that embattled DS-230 properly, with the right number format, no gaps in residence or employment, and N/A where appropriate.

I hope for you a SIF very soon!!!

Yep, I guess Guangzhou is still scheduling the Interview Dates. For other countries, the Interview Dates schedule on second week of each month, but I hear Guangzhou does his own schedule

Mine was SIF on May 19th. But don't know the interview date yet. I see yours was assigned the next day. How did you find out about your interview date? Did you call and ask about it or did you get an email notification? I have called twice and both times operator told me they are done with June dates and have to wait for July. But I can still see couple of packets were sent on DHL that belonged to May 19 and May 20th Reference, for Islamabad. I am wondering if one of those packets happened to be mine but the operator might not have the information. I am going to call today again to find out but not sure what to ask for?

2010-06-29 - Submit docs at VFS office.

2010-07-13 - Interview at Mumbai embassy - APPROVED!

After our case completed at NVC on May 19 EST, my hubby called DOS(202-663-1225)around 1pm EST on May 20 to ask my Interview Date,he got the Date immediately, then we got the email notification,which is Appointment Letter at 6pm EST on May 20

Darnell is right, Guangzhou Electronic Processing usually schedules Interview Date "between 1-5 days after case completed at NVC", we do not need to "wait for 2nd week of the month to set the interview", but I also heard some casefiles completed in March, April or early May, they are still no Interview Dates too. Guangzhou EP is pretty strange sometimes

:dance: Just got a email from NVCInquiry half hour ago, yep, it is my P4... Interview Date is JUNE 21,2010 07:30am. Thank God! It is a June Interview :dance:

Should we book plane ticket right away? It is pretty expersive during June-August! Only July 07-09, the Continental Airlines has some cheaper tickets, but, also more than $1,000, plus taxs and fees, totally is $1,135.80. One-way, yep, pretty expensive!!
