does SIF happens b4 the NVC confirms u about ur case close?? what about the AVR.

Sign in will fail first. The next day will be the Case Complete. The AVR may update the next day. It will update within 3 days.

Then you wait for the NVC to send you the interview email. That happens usually at the end of the month or the 2 week of every month. depends on when your CC happens.

Just got a email from NVCInquiry half hour ago, yep, it is my P4... Interview Date is JUNE 21,2010 07:30am. Thank God! It is a June Interview

Should we book plane ticket right away? It is pretty expersive during June-August! Only July 07-09, the Continental Airlines has some cheaper tickets, but, also more than $1,000, plus taxs and fees, totally is $1,135.80. One-way, yep, pretty expensive!!

Thanks for all the information on flites! I have used random July dates on different booking sites and with the airlines and I can;t find anything to Jordan from here under $1800 with taxes and fees. I will try some of the tips I've seen here and see if they help!

Lili's electronic processing through Guangzhou. I think they follow a different set of rules. Darnell, confirm?

For scheduling. The big round is the second week for the next month. There is another round for some embassies the last week for the month after next. If interviews come in during next week, they will most likely be for July.

for the education question on Ds-230: do we need to make sure we don't leave any time unaccounted for? for my mom, I wrote about her grammar school and high school, but I only posted the dates for the academic year. i know that for the residence and employment questions, we were not supposed to leave out any period of time. i made sure to do this for residence and employment, but i did not think that this concept also applied to the education question

i am getting an RFE for this! the RFE also states that i did not fill out the question about my mom's military history. i did! she has never been in the military. and i made sure to put N/A where appropriate.

If your mom stopped after highschool that info should suffice. And who know why you would have military RFE if there was a N/A in the blank. Call and speak to a supervisor about it.

My flite is about $500 cheaper here to Jordan in July! Since I don't have an exact date yet, I can't buy... but this looks good!

Oh, I did not include the cover sheet with my package, and it was reviewed within a reasonable time frame. Guess consistency is not their best characteristic.
