Guys,

for the education question on Ds-230: do we need to make sure we don't leave any time unaccounted for? for my mom, I wrote about her grammar school and high school, but I only posted the dates for the academic year. i know that for the residence and employment questions, we were not supposed to leave out any period of time. i made sure to do this for residence and employment, but i did not think that this concept also applied to the education question

i am getting an RFE for this! the RFE also states that i did not fill out the question about my mom's military history. i did! she has never been in the military. and i made sure to put N/A where appropriate.

They are getting so carried away with these Checklists! that is ridiculous. Sorry about the checklist but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you'll be closed before the 2nd week in June.

At last, after waiting for 3 months, I have all the civil documents to send with DS230.

Please respond-

1. I need to write nvc case number on all documents, I read from older posts, on the original documents like "B'certificate, police clearance certificate, passport office certificate, marriage certificate" ....

Can I write nvc case number? in pencil or in pen?

hahaha, hehehehehe! Hilarious. 5 months huh? Try 10 MONTHS! TEN FREAKIN' MONTHS! That is why when my husband finally does get approved and over here, VJ won't be seeing me for about a WEEK! LOL. Love you guys!

You guys, are funny! My husband has been in Afghanistan for the past 11 months and won;t come back until the end of July. So, a few more weeks :))

Thanks for the other comment! I am trying to understand now what is happening, and while the operators are nice, they can't really help me

Thank you! It's been hard, but he is coming back home soon!

I can relate to everyone's situation on here. I can understand how hard it is to be separated from your significant other/immediate family members.

Thank you Deb+Steve. So it means I just have to sit and wait until second week of June..:( So it means NVC keeps the completed documents and do nothing with them until second week of every month if they have finished processing the case and if it is passed the second week? That is really bizzare..Can't they just send the documents to Embassy so atleast we can request the embassy for an earlier interview date if possible? By the way anyone knows if US embassy in Pakistan has some sort of published calendar of interview dates for every month?

Thanks everyone once again for your wishes..I hope I get the interview date assigned soon as well..

After reading several posts that some embassies schedule interviews the 4th week of the month, I was curious so I asked one day when I called an operator.

She told me they DO schedule the 4th week (which is next week) IF there are any more openings. I am not sure if that means openings for June or July.

July dates next week? I don't know. But I am praying to hear something, too!

So, if our cases are completed by the end of the month, we might get interviews for the end of July? I'm a little confused on how the scheduling system works.
