NVC May 2010 Edition!

I mailed my RFE checklist on May 8th and NVC recieved on May 12th. It has not got into APR yet!! Its been 8 days !!

I mailed my RFE checklist on May 8th and NVC recieved on May 12th. It has not got into APR yet!! Its been 8 days !!

Do you mean that the AVR is saying they received the checklist response or just telling you that they mailed you the checklist? If it hasn't even updated to say that they've received your response, don't be too worried about it. They were busy last week scheduling interviews so that is probably why there was a bit of a delay. If they have received your checklist response, you should be looking for a SIF soon if nothing else is missing. I'm sure the AVR will be updated soon. Good luck.

Nope, nothing! I called this morning and got the same "checklist on the 12th" message. Anything changed on yours?

There are a few people on here who had their letters acknowledged by the NVC on the 12th.

I think these cases are currently being reviewed, and we should hear something by Friday (hopefully!!)

I don't believe you need to worry about it. I sent my RFE and NVC received it on the 29th and they still haven't changed the AVR. Sometimes they just don't change it for whatever reason, but it doesn't mean they aren't processing your paperwork.

I will give you a heads up that it seems they are running extremely slow. At this rate it's taken almost a month and still no word on my RFE response. So get ready for a long frustrating wait.

School is out next week and after that NVC will be the only thing holding me back from getting my flight and going to be with my husband. I hope by Friday we both get lucky and they get us out of their dusty pile.

Well NVC did signed and it has been laying in mailroom. The checklist RFe is not into system yet. I called them today and they told me they still waiting for my checklist.

Yea I called NVc and they havnt recieved my RFE checklist....grrrr. I just want to get July interview

sorry for the confusion. NVc did recieved my mail but I called NVC and they told they are still waiting for my RFE checklist. i guess its still laying in mailroom or lost in somewhere. It has been 7 days for not recieving my respone.

I did things a little different. After all the Fees showed paid, I sent everything together like this:

Barcoded coversheet and hard copy of the DS-3032

Barcoded coversheet and the I-864 package with all docs

Barcoded coversheet and the I-864 for our joint sponsor with all docs

Barcoded coversheet and the DS-230 with all docs

and I wrote every letter of explanation I could even think of. If I thought they would question something I wrote a letter about it. Plus not only did I send the Barcoded coversheet's that go along with the packages I also added another one with a list of everything on top of those. Just to try to make things easy on them. So, I think maybe my package was so thick that they are like I'm not gonna open that one! Maybe they are drawing straws I just hope by me sending it all together like that it don't cause a bigger delay.

Has anyone else done the same? I would love to hear your story. Just to give me a little encouragement I keep wondering if I should not have done it this way. Thank You in advance! Congrats and Good Luck to all on your visa journeys!!!

i also sent my ds230 package express on may 6th and monday the operator said they got it on may 13 and since yesterday it's being reviewed. so i'm hoping by friday either i'll get some RFE (hope not) or case completed..........i'm just praying

OMG! OMG! OMG! At 4:20pm today I got a SIF! So, at 4:25pm the operator at NVC confirmed a CASE COMPLETE as of TODAY! She even congratulated me She did say Cairo was full for the month of June for interviews and for me to call the 2nd week of June to see if they can schedule us for a July interview. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: I cant believe it!!! Good Luck to the rest of you waiting for a Case Complete! I pray for you all it will be very soon!!!

Called NVC, the operator said Guangzhou makes his own schedules. Just let hubby call DOS tomorrow around 08:30-17:00 EST
