You could type out that information on another sheet of paper and attach it to the DS-230 form. Make a notation on the form about seeing the additional sheet. Don't leave anything blank! Put N/A if it does not apply.

Let's see what others say.

I put both #22 and #27 SAME AS ITEM #13

and #23 and #28 put N/A

also #34 put N/A all of the 4 lines

Don't leave ANY space blank, write in "Same as ..." or "N/A" or "None" as appropriate

Now, I'm not recommending this to everyone and I know there are those who may disagree, but here's what we did.

We were able to fit the whole address on line 13 as you were. We had the exact same situation as you (being the same address etc..). So we actually shortened it up just a tad. Basically we just excluded the province and that allowed us to fit it in. In hind site, as ####### as the NVC is, I would say not to do this. However, so far we haven't been RFE'd for this. So if you're feeling lucky, give it a shot :)

Adding a separate sheet has been mentioned, so I won't go over that.

Another option is to use the typewriter function. I've done this before with similar applications, but I don't remember off-hand how to do it. I think Adobe has a built in typewriter function, for some reason I remember having to download a different application to do it.

The typewriter function basically allows you to select the size of the text and where exactly you can input it.

Just a Note: in case you're wondering, our RFE has nothing to do with the DS-230 form. Course that doesn't mean NVC won't go for round 2. Still witing...

Wow, not even an AVR update? I hope they started reviewing it! They have had it for close to three weeks.

The weirdest thing happened to a friend. She was RFE-ed for her birth certificate, which she sent in. She called them a few weeks later to inquire about the case, and they told her they had not received the certificate. After another month, she got CC. They had found the certificates, but they never told her about it or updated their system...

Are you going to accompany him to the interview?

Yes I am going. We attempted a K1 and I didn't go in September and I think that's why they sent it all back to USCIS.

So there is no way I will miss this one... even though airfare is soooo high!

1. Yes.

2. Call the hospital and get what is required. Usually, it's 2 pictures, medical records, passport, passport copy, and interview letter.

3. Contact your local VFS office and find out what you have to submit to them. It needs to be submitted 7-10 working days prior to your interview.

Police reports that aren't available unless you're in the country to go and get them! The frustrating thing is I wrote a detailed letter with supporting evidence that there was no way to get the PCC's unless we physically went there which is not possible! I will call and talk to a supervisor on Monday. Wish me luck!

And shouldn't you be partying Sach? LOL!

It's worth calling the police dept. - somehow after at least 30 phone calls we managed to get one from Maldives. You can try the embassy (Nigerian) too. Lots of luck!!!

Just saw you sent in it already, never mind :)

Ally, if you don't mind my asking, what reason was given for your K-1 denial?

They didn't really give us one. The CO was a real witch. The 221 said he was marrying me just for the visa (not in those words exactly).

She even asked him how much HE paid me to bring him here!

The age difference is what she kept commenting on and she told him he was too young and handsome to be with me.

I guess we should have reported her because the interview was NOT a fair one. But he is not as outspoken as I am and didn't really know what to do or say to her accusations.

We had no problems that time or this time going thru the process here in the US, it was all the CO. I realize now that we made a mistake by my not being there. And I had only visited once because I had a new job and really couldn't.

I have 2 more long visits now (one almost 2 months and one 3 weeks) and I will be with him at this interview. And we have about 3000 pics. I have printed so many pages of evidence I think my printer should die any day now... LOL! (I mean we talk at least 2 hours every day online and on the phone and send about 50-60 texts back and forth each day!)

We are so in love and can't wait to be together!

NVC confirmed we are NOT scheduled for June as they embassy has limited capacity. June shows two people on VJ with inteviews in June. So now it's waiting some more and hopefully for July but this notion of two or three VJrs per month is insane. I know there are more than just ppl on VJ applying for visas but holy moly.... :wow:

Wow indeed. 2 people who actually got June interviews?? As you said, there are so many people who are actually going through NVC than here. I haven't called NVC again, but probably will get the same answer as you. This is just pathetic!!

I hope we can get the July interview atleast. Goodluck to us on that one!

I sent in a letter explaining (AGAIN) why we couldn't get the police certificates. I spoke to a supervisor who told me that would suffice (keeping my fingers, eyes, toes and tongue crossed!) Plus after hearing about 5 times that Bangladesh doesn't give police clearances to foreigners, I'm praying this will suffice.
