What are they asking for?

Sorry, dear. What's it for?

Police reports that aren't available unless you're in the country to go and get them! The frustrating thing is I wrote a detailed letter with supporting evidence that there was no way to get the PCC's unless we physically went there which is not possible! I will call and talk to a supervisor on Monday. Wish me luck!

And shouldn't you be partying Sach? LOL!

Oh, God, that's so frustrating!! There was another person who recently got the same checklist. She called them and was told that a supervisor will review her case. Hope it's all cleared soon!!

To those with good news, Congrats!

Cheronda, hang in there, hon. Talk to a supervisor. I'm certain you can handle 'em. Hehehe.

Julissa, you be careful now, y'hear?

Guys... I'm going to the beach for a few days. No computer. No news. Just my cell phone. Good luck on the interviews!!! If you see anyone going through Bangkok, just tell them to sit back and learn how to make flower garlands. They're in for a long wait for PCCs and interviews.

Getting scary there in Thailand with all these protests and fighting. It doesn't seem to be safe in Bangkok. Be careful there!

Anyhow another week of waiting for the interview date.

Thanks Kari, I am definitely gearing up for a fight and I don't plan on losing! Be careful over there Kari. I didn't know you were physically in Bangkok until I read another post. My prayers are with you and your husband.

Thats why I'm a little nervous! Apparently a supervisor was ALREADY reviewing my case so did they make that decision to send me a checklist or was it by an operator??? More when we return on "As the NVC decides...very very SLOWLY"! (of course said with dramatic music!)

 thanks for the laugh!

I don't know what's up with all the "supervisor reviews."

Seems we all got them, but I got thru it in about 2 weeks...

So best of luck!

It's unfortunate what's going on in Bangkok. It is a wonderful city. We went there for our honeymoon in January. Things were calm then. I hope the troubles end soon.

NVC pads their numbers for everything...

When our case was approved @ USCIS, and sent to NVC, we were told to wait 2-4 weeks for NVC to receive it.

They got it in 3 days.

When NVC received it, AVR said to wait 4-6 weeks for it to be processed

We got an RFE 2 weeks later

Once we sent back the checklist, AVR said to wait 6-8 weeks for a response

Our case was complete 2 weeks later

And although, our case was supposed to be complete by last Friday in order to get a June interview date, our case was completed on Monday, and Ian's interview is June 15th.

Everything is padded so you don't freak out while waiting, or for busier times, but unless there's something very unusual, you can expect sooner, rather than later.

Ya for sure. We were told 5 months to have NOA2 and it took about 2.5 months. Bonus. It flew from NOA2 to NVC within a week, then completion of that in about 3 weeks. We're waiting on an interview and the AVR says up to 8 weeks but that's padded. They also say they are scheduling interviews in the first 2 weeks of May, for June....well in the US consulate in Montreal, nothing is moving. I'm hoping Montreal increases its fibre intake and gets past this administrative constipation.
