UPDATE: just got off the phone with NVC after a 30 mins wait! They said the Chekclist for the missing PCC is JUST A REMINDER!!! SHEESSH!! She also said that she will send my case to a supervisor to review and close. From reading other VJers stories about supervisor reviews that may increase the time right? I'm just glad they'll complete the case now hopefully!

I got an email for the RFE. It's for the PPC from Passport office. We had already mentioned on the Cover Letter that the Ahmedabad passport office DOES NOT provide the PCC w/o the interview letter!!! Other folks have done the same thing and they've accepted it.... why? o why us???

It's another story that we were able to get the PO PCC using the false checklist that they generated on May 4th. So if they don't budge, we'll send that out.

there goes any chance of a June interview... Now I can only hope for July!!

That's unfortunate. Call NVC and ask them. I hope it works out for you quickly.

It will cause a slight delay but at least you know what is going on now! Good luck!

I doubt they will merge them right where they open the letters.

Did the two packets have a bar-coded cover sheet each? That would make it easier for them to get merged at some stage.

Yeah, I made sure to put the bar-coded sheet in each envelope.

I just called an operator and found out our case was completed on May 12th. Yay!!! :dance:

So request for my birth certificate was a false RFE. :blink:

Now waiting for our interview appointment.. the operator told me to call back on Monday., but what the heck, I am going to call again tonight.. :)

:crying: My case is still under review?! At least, the NVC operator said so. Cannot imagine that, NVC received my case on MAY 6th. How long I should wait? another 1 week, or 2-4 weeks? I predict a JUNE Interview, possible?!

NVC already sent my documents to the embassy. Out of curiosity I did the DHL track by reference and I could see a package sent to my embassy on May 12th, I am pretty sure this should be ours. :star:

Guys do you think I will get a June interview? Since my case was completed at the boarder of the first two week of the month, just wondering if I would make it to a June interview.

It's only been 6 working days - not to be a buzzkill, but give it another week at least. Just keep calling the AVR - was it received on May 6 or inputted into system. Sometimes it takes a few days before it's opened.

1998-2001 - Undergrad together - Marine Bio - Florida Tech

2009 - Scotland; Hawaii; Missouri; Mauritius & Rome (a good year)!

11/20/09 - Married in Mauritius

11/23/09 - Sent I-130

12/4/09 - NOA1

2/25/10 - NOA2

3/12/10 - AOS and IV BILLS paid

I had CC on May 11 and the operator told me that we could get a date this week.

I looked at the DHL tracking too and saw a package going to Jordan. I haven't talked to an operator since the 11th so I don't know if its ours, but I hope it is!

I also saw a post yesterday or the day before in this thread that an operator told someone else they would still be giving dates the Monday and Tuesday.

I think we still have a chance!

Did an operator tell you that your package had been sent out? I plan to call NVC on Monday.

That it was received on May 12th does not mean it shows up on the operator's computer.

It would likely show up on the operator's computer when it gets looked at by an examiner/reviewer.

But I'm just guessing here.

My suggestion - just be patient and give them a few days.

By the way - I am in exactly the same situation as you.

I am also in the same boat with you both. The AVR says it received my documents on May 11th and please allow 6 to 8 weeks for review. I spoke to an operator yesterday and she said wait the normal 6 to 8 weeks but then later said give it a week and a half and check back. I hope she's right! But we all know don't believe anything you hear and half the things you see with NVC :lol:
