Ya for sure, those June dates are pouring in, everywhere but the US consulate in Montreal Canada that is !!!!! :bonk:

I know! I'm thinking I will get mine for July, but won't get it until June 1st, that seems to be their new trend. :blink:

Oh my goodness...JUNE 7th!!at 8:30am Hong Kong!!

I can't believe it...Less than one month away...I have to organize my flight, his flight, hotel stay, his medical, all evidence, documents....Oh my goodness, how am I going to do that?

It sucks because in Hong Kong, you can't have your medical till you have the interview letter....now, we only have less than a month left....

SO excited, but also a little freaked out right now...I was thinking we won't get it till the end of June or July....SO soon....

just got off the phone with NVC... they somehow have my Italian husband confused for a Libyan national?

I think they finally understand why we cannot obtain a Libyan birth record for a birth transcribed in ITALY!!! I even have a letter from Italian consulate in Tripoli!!!!!

On our way to DHL packet for 3 RFE's - pulease let this be over already!!

Also per supervisor's advice - sending in scanned version of Maldives police report with explanation including all the reasons why Maldives hasn't mailed the report:

I am at a conference

the printer is broken

I already sent it

the next day: maybe i will send it tomorrow

I am the only one hear

I don't know maybe next week.

...seriously.

Alright, Brooke!! What a PITA!! I have to say that sending the email to that PI Supervisor Sue is what got us over the line. Saying lots & lots of Ohms for you ... :star:

I have a stupid question...

My wife's interview email lists here name as FNU, FirstName LastName. I had noticed it in previous correspondance with the NVC but thought it was only an internal NVC code of some sort. But I thought I call them up and ask them about it and I did yesterday. They said the FNU stands for "First Name Unknown" and that they had put both first name and last name as last name. I asked her if this was gonna be an issue and she said it can be clarified at the interview and they will correct it there. Anyone else see this happen? Although I'm not too worried about it, just thought I share this with you.

I can only speak for the Sydney Consulate - who told me they can make any changes to names etc at the interview as long as the police checks and passport were in the name/s that they were changing. I hope this helps.

Yes, write it on the DS-230 packet forms as well. I got a checklist from them, and it said on it to write the number in the upper right side of each form. Good luck! Hope they review it quickly.

It happened to me to. They didn't send a checklist for not writing the case number. That would be a bit much!

The checklist was for the DS-230 but in the instructions they said write the case number on every item you submit.
