This is so confusing!! AVR and operator confirmed case completed, and I thought it is all over and all I am waiting for is the interview date...

But just now, I received an e-mail Check-list response from NVC saving we need the Police Certificate from Hong Kong. I already noted on our cover letter in our DS230 package saying it is requested and sent to HK US Embassy already, because Hong Kong Police Department won't mail it to NVC....now what should I do? I am so confused now.

Sigh...and I thought all I am waiting for is interview date...and now a check-list response for something I've already requested and sent to the embassy...sigh...

Now I need to call NVC on Monday first thing to clear this up...hopefully I won't miss the June interview assign date....this whole process is so confusing and depressing...I can't wait for this to be over and my hubby here with me....

NVC Operator confirmed twice that our case is closed and just waiting for the interview date...when will we know? It seems like this last waiting part is the most frustrating. I really don't have the motivation to start preparing for the evidence/documents for the interview until I know when it is going to be...sigh...

I have been preparing evidence since we went to NVC. Some how it has given me hope and strength to keep waiting!

I say go for it!

And looking at our old chats, pictures, etc has brought back great memories... have fun with it!

I called up NVC this morning and finally the AVR stated that they received the DS-230 package on May 11. Now, I'm waiting for the next phase....hope everyone else that was waiting for receipt also received the message.....

It IS strange.

I also thought it was strange when I confirmed my CC yesterday and the operator said we still had a chance to get a date this week. I thought we had to have CC by last Friday. I don't really expect a date this week but....
