Need help!!

We send in the DS230 package and the AVR said it received on May 4th. Today, I called NVC to confirm with the operators. They said they don't see a package received. Does anyone have experience before the AVR would report differently than what the operator sees? I failed to understand this. Here is the unsure part from us: When the DS230 request email come along, it comes with 3 different cover letter. We used the "Attn: DR" checklist cover page to put on top of the package, the rest of the cover page, we left them at the end of the package. Does it make any difference? What is causing the different status from AVR and the operator's system? Any thing we can do to rectify the situation? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

That's weird - AVR rarely 'ahead' of the data the Tele-Operators can see - usually it's the reverse - where the AVR is 2 to 5 days behind any actual event, and the Tele-Operators see the event prior to the AVR reporting on it.

If I were in yer shoes, I'd be calling back NVC a few times today, and ask the Tele-Operators to check all case status, going backwards from most recent 'thing' , getting the 4 prior 'things'.

If you had any delivery confirmation with the package, then, IMO, don't sweat this, at all.

If you paid online via the payment portal, though - you should be checking for 'sign in fail' this week and next.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Its the last week of the month, so the 24th would be the date. I am still holding out hope for June! I'm on my daily call with NVC now.

I think with the Jordan embassy, it will be July for us.

I wasn't sure which week because I had read both dates on here.

I won't let myself call every day, just evry other... LOL. I do check the AVR twice a day, but not an operator.

So they will hear from me tomorrow!

Send it now! The email address is nvcinquiry@state.gov. Be sure to include the case #, beneficiary's and petitioners name and dob. Also, look on the other pages of this thread for Sachinky's posts and she has a few posts about what to do once your case # has been assigned. I'm not sophisticated enough to attach the link.

Hi guys, we have a question on the DS-3032, we just received the case number this morning, I am planning to send it today, but we are missing the e-mail address for the NVC, also, should I wait a little more, or can I send it now. Thanks so much!!

Here is an extract from Sachinsky's post outlining the steps:

Pay attention, non-EP NVC noobs. Here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

Suggestions:

1) Have the beneficiary mail SIGNED extra DS230s to you so that you have them handy in case something goes wrong. Or you get hit by a dreaded RFE.

2) If you just received your NOA2, THIS is the time to get your tax stuff and police certificates sorted out. Don't waste time on this.

3) Double check the PCC requirements in the regional forums as they are country specific.

4) Check the pinned STUPID RFEs thread in IR-1/CR-1 forum before sending in your packages.

5) Mail your DS230 package to your USC spouse as soon as you get your NOA2. That way he/she can overnight it to NVC as soon as the IV bill clears.

6) Get your taxes, employment letter, paystubs, PCCs, civil documents etc. while you wait for the NOA2.

Currently the # of business days NVC is taking:

3-4 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

3-4 days to receive emailed links after case # has been assigned and email addresses been given to NVC operator.

1-2 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

1-3 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

1-2 days for IV bill to be PAID.

8-11 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

Folks--please make sure your official VJ timelines are up to date. Remember this is our only source of predictions. Thankyou!

Suggest you follow this template for text-based Choice of agent email -

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

But - the USC needs to call in to NVC, talk with operator, exchange emails with the operator, and WAIT for the AOS Fee Bill to be emailed to USC, THEN send off the DS-3032.

There's some internal stuff to be done at NVC, for them to prep the casefile. When the AOS FEE BILL is emailed out, that prep work is done, and the DS-3032 is 'looked for' - if you send it in early, IMO, it will delay things.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Absolutely right Darnell. Sorry Meant2be2009, I didn't read carefully and assumed that AOS and DS-3032 package had already been received. Lets hope I read the instructions a bit better when I submitted my own package!
