Guys, I just called AVR and find out I have a RFE, then I called an operator to find out what is this RFE for. She said it is for original marriage certificate and for BC. I have sent all originals with translations. I don't understand what the heck they are asking for. we sent the original birth certificate of my husband which is 26 years old document and a original marriage certificate which we received the day we got married.

Operator told me that she will ask a supervisor to review it again and it will take another two weeks or so.

I am so stressed out now. Do you guys have any suggestions for me to do before waiting two weeks? :crying:

I'm sorry to hear that! I hope supervisor will look at it right & away & you SIF not that they should of even slowed down your case because of them not being able to understand that thats the orginals. :bonk:

Yeup, I'm still on the back burner waiting for that SIF. I would think us three wait-k-teers (Cix-Ally-Chey) will get CC this week. We're all blown for June, but hopefully we can at least be first in

I just talked to an supervisor name Ethan who was very nice. He tole me that RFE for my birth certificate and marriage certificate. Then I mentioned that I m the petitioner for my husband and I do not required to send these documents. Then he realized that NVC made a mistake and told me that he will do a quick review on the case. He also said it will not take two more weeks to fix this problem and it will be a quick one. So I hope it will be the case. :whistle:

WHEW thats good to hear. But wow, are they that blind when processing the paperwork. Either way for their mistake hope they SIF you tonight! Best of luck!

You had a better call than I did!

The operator I got sounded like he was just a kid and he was not very up on his job... nice yes, but not really helpful. I think the vjers know more about the processing than he did!

Oh well, maybe I will call back at 11 tonight!

Guessing June is out for our interview!

As hard as it is, think positive thoughts! Hope you get some good news tonight!

Today I gave my lawyer all the documents and paperwork for NVC. She will mail the package on Monday. I'm very excited to finally be getting started with NVC. I had trouble finding a co-sponsor and it took me a couple of months after I got my NOA2 to find one. I am hoping that I fly through NVC. Please wish me luck and good luck to all of you.

I wish you the best of luck! Even though you have an attorney, STAY ON TOP OF YOUR CASE! I too had an attorney (not a pleasant experience) & they held me back I would say about a wk & in this process a day is bad.

Hi people, hope you are ok, I need your help on question 35 on the DS-230, where it says "LOCATION", that is the port of entry or the place that you were visiting, also, in some of my stamps is not being specified if its B2 or B1, what should I put if its not showing, I don´t want to have an RFE for this. Lovely weekend... this the most waited weekend... because is the one above of the most waited week the seconed week of the month! Yahoo.. all this waiting it's like hell... so I just can understand to everybody who is waiting for a SIF/CC... or an appointment... let's enjoy this lovely weekend and good luck for everyone who is waiting for the NVC to take out of this misery..
