Let me start by saying sorry for not having my timeline updated.

Quick question. Have anyone received a call from NVC informing them that their case is completed and they should be set to be scheduled for interview during the 2nd week of May.

I have been trying to get a SIF all week and this morning I got my SIF then a few hours later a call from NVC (I even called the number back just to check it was the really NVC calling me) saying that my case completed. I just think it is strange and never seen any posting about NVC being this courteous before. LOL. Thanks

I keep getting an "error message" saying payment rejected because payment center is not working? What do I do?

I think I got some sort of error message when I tried to do one of my payments. I would close your browser, log back in and see if it went through. After it goes through once, it'll keep giving you an error when you try to pay for the same bill twice.

Otherwise at worst, give it a day and try again.

Last resort is using the old method or getting on the phone for some tech support.

I wish they would call me! I am looking for my cc too Cixelsyd. Are you hopefull for this week? I am trying not to get my hopes up but I can't help it!

Yeah, I've definitely got the same problem there. We've got a big ordeal planned for middle of July involving families and what not. So I'm really hoping for a CC this week. If we have to wait until the next go around, then based on averages, her interview will land smack in the middle of -The Worst Time-.

I laughed when I threw the numbers together and saw the probable dates.

So while I wish I could hope for a CC, I'm really just waiting for Murphy's law to kick in again. I suppose it keeps you frosty though.

Edit: Keep meaning to post a welcome to those who have recently joined us. And as always a congrats to those leaving us (begrudgingly though). However, there hasn't been much going on this week. Which is a good sign the fur will fly next week.

Ok, so I called NVC yesterday to see if our package had been sent to the embassy since we got the interview appointment on Saturday and I didn't see a package going to Casa on Monday. The operator said it was sent yesterday and this morning the AVR was updated and said that the package was in fact sent on 5/4. Here's the problem: I've done the tracking shortcut on DHL and there aren't any packages out to Casa today, yesterday, Monday, or not even Friday. Should I be concerned?
