Good morning/evening everyone and big congrats to everyone!! :) Bears - Merlaine is leaving for Manila on Monday morning :) She's going to check into her CFO seminar and see if she can get it done while she still has her passport (St. Lukes will keep it). Then she's going to go do her medical either Wednesday or Thursday. Since her "diagnosis" there in Tacloban, her "PTB" (cold) has moved from her chest to a nice little head "PTB" (cold) complete with congestion and a runny nose..LOL I'm optimistic that she's going to pass that medical!! We're both prepared if she doesn't though :)

You can only apply for expedited processing if you're in the military or if there is an urgent humanitarian crisis.

That way you get to skip the NVC processing.

:star: Hello Everyone! Looks like another month we all wish would fly by so we can all get that visa and reunite with our beloved spouse. I have about 3 more weeks of teaching to go then I fly out to Egypt to spend 10 weeks with my husband in Egypt and hopefully he will be able to return with me. Good luck to everyone and I wish you the best! :star:

Hello people. Just thought I'd write this - SYDNEY CONSULATE ROCKS. Received my interview date. It is June 1st!!

The universe is listening. We are hoping if my visa is approved that I would leave here in July. So, the timing's perfect because I have to give 4 weeks notice at work.

So after yesterday, I guess it's confirmation that everything is batched over at NVC. Would explain why some wait a few days and others wait 1 or 2 for emails and checklists. :thumbs:
