I don't think that the CO does much work ahead of time apart from reviewing the documents.

AP is usually for name/security/background checks and that doesn't start before the interview.

Alright then. It's interesting looking at timelines out of Morocco how some get the visa the next day and others have to wait and wait. I want to be part of the first group! Ok, I'm REALLY going to go get some sleep now.

Here's my take, sorry to everyone but seriously ... why bother harassing NVC when you have a CC and an interview date assigned? Why not just destress for a bit?

There are others (and we've all been there) who are still waiting for CC and/or an interview date. Clogging NVC's one telephone line makes it harder for people who need to get through and speak to an operator. Or maybe I'm just not as obsessive but there does come a time when you have to let go and not let the process consume you.

I agree with Deb. Once you have your interview date, focus on getting your documents in order. Make sure you get an updated I-864 and such. Get your passport pictures taken. Print out your wedding pictures. Start printing chat logs and phone bills. Get your medical done. Eat at your favorite local places one last time. Go shopping and start packing. Come on now, there's tons to do!

My Husband wao I love him..he is coming to DR from June 12th to June 20th for the interview..as you know on June 11th will start the FIFA World Cup.. so My hubby sent me an letter with the following instruction..LMAO..HAHAHAHAHAHA

these are the rules to be followed during the World Cup. Notes: It is reported, that from June 11 to July 11, 2010 (duration of World Cup South Africa 2010) Please note the following: 1. I'm going to accompany the super market outside the hours of the games and / or repetitions of the same (without exception). 2. Read the sports section so that we have a topic of conversation, otherwise, do not be surprised that you do not talk during that month. 3. If you have to pass in front of the TV during a game, you can do, where crawling and without distracting or make noise. 4. During the games I am deaf and blind. Do not expect that you attend, listen, look, open the door, answer the phone, do the shopping, the fire is out of the kitchen, etc. Nothing, but NOTHING!. 5. You must supply the beer fridge and smile at my friends if they come to share some hours of football.

Oh goodness, Estrella. Mr. Sachinky and I had vowed that come what may, we would be together by June 2010 for the WC. Hopefully, that'll come true! So exciting! I'm rooting for Germany.

I keep getting an "error message" saying payment rejected because payment center is not working? What do I do?

About a mo ago or so payment portal website had a problem too & at times did not for some day. Hope they are not having the problem again.

Guys I think I just got my SIF. Is is too soon??? AVR just changed on Monday saying they had received docs.
