I had the same thought. It's extremely frustrating to see people with fast approvals while we've been sitting around for eons. But if you refile now, you have to start by withdrawing the old petition. Seems that it would create a lot of hassle and confusion in an already difficult process, not to mention that CSC has no clue about anything and would probably send RFE after RFE to try to clarify it.

I agree with Kat, I would think it would take even longer if you refilled. It looks like your RFE was received around the same time as mine, so hopefully that means an approval extremely soon!

You can't let this whole process frustrate you so much. If you do, it just causes more stress for both people and it doesn't help anyways. At the time I went thru the K-1 process, it took almost 7 months for my approval (NOA2), and my case was as straight-forward as it could be.

It doesn't make any sense why some people get approved before others when they have applied to the same Service Centre, but I gave up trying to make any sense of USCIS a long time ago.

Just try to be patient... your day will come.... and then you can get on with your lives together and be happy.

Best wishes to all those waiting patiently for their approvals!!!!

Exactly, that's why I avoid putting the spotlight on me with complaining. I complaing for the benifit of all, me, the past and the future submitters so they don't have to live through this crapola. I am not going to get on here and complain about my trivial time spent waiting when there's a lot of couples worse off than me. But hey if you want to take the stage that's fine with me.
