What the heck!

Our petition was rec'd by NVC on 31 July and sent 02 Aug to Manila Embassy. The question becomes... Why isn't the NVC processing the petitions? Goodness, they get the job done! By the by, the NVC folks are friendly, courteous, and helpful. I wish they were performing visa interviews as well (wishful thinking)!

ULING! breathe man, breathe!!!! do you want to book a flight to manila together? hahahaha that is, if you decide to go attend wilma's interview. I told you we were going be in the same line in the embassy... same day! watch! J/k my 8ball says so! im getting anxiety attacks as well! hahahah

im hoping it's true... that per my tracking, the paperwork is in manila, received 8-04 Manila time. let's keep our fingers crossed. maybe we should hound the US embassy in manila to ask them if they already received our paperwork! ugh but we hae to wait til sunday PST to do that. i want an october interview.... too late to wish for a september one...

YnaYeBa0808 - If I go to the interview, I feel like I'm going to be the one to mess it up. LOL! She's all anxious and level headed. I'm the one fainting and stuttering. LOL!

devilette - I have no idea how they are tracking the package to the Embassy. Goodness, everyday I learn something new about this process.

hahahahah uling. youll be fine... i just think it's easier to show the intent to marry if youre there on the interview... just in case desperate measures are required! hahahahah im just kidding...

sure i will call the embassy in manila to double check if my application was received. if that was the case i will let you know too... if they open at 8 then ill call here at 5pm.

Wow, that is encouraging. Good for you and your love. Here's hoping that your process in the Phillipines is faster than normal too.

March 9 - filed I-129F to Nebraska

March 15 - NOA#1

June 1 - transferred to CSC

July 11 - IMBRA RFE back with CSC

August 3 - NOA#2

August 6 - touched

Our approval letter stated that NVC would send us a letter with the Embassy's contat and our new case number after it was processed and sent.

Is there any advantage to doing the whole call NVC, and track DHL thing, or is it just to sort of keep an eye on it? Anyone have experience in how long it took for NVC to send this letter after they sent it off?

Sent in I-129F..................March 17th

NOA1 from CSC................March22

RFE recieved....................June 28th

RFE returned....................June 29th

RFE receipt by CSC ...........July 5th

Touched..........................July 26th

Touhced..........................July 27th

NOA2.............................July 31st...after 132 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Packet 3 sent...................August 22nd

Medical...........................September 9th

Interview........................October 4th!!!!!!!

Think the only benefit is to know where you are in AP or not with NVC.. and just the peace of mind of it making it to the destination.

YnaYeBa0808 - Let's call on Sunday to check whether they have received our petitions. The number is 011-63-2-528-6300 ext. 5184 or 5185. About three weeks ago, a lady in the Nonimmigrant Visa Unit was kind enough to give me the Immigrant Visa Unit extensions where K1 Visas are processed.

Congradulations you guys!

How did you find out they sent the packages to the embassy already?

2005-02-08: met in yahoo

2005-02-20: started talking on the phone

2005-06-24: met for the first time in Hongkong

2005-06-25: engagement!!!

2005-08-10: started working on the annulment

2005-10-17: first visit in the philippines

2006-02-28: Got my final decree of the annulment

2006-03-03: second visit in the philippines

2006-03-16: sent I-129F to CSC

2006-03-24: received NOA1

2006-06-23: received IMBRA RFE

2006-06-24: third visit in the philippines to celebrate

our anniversary

2006-07-06: IMBRA RFE reply

2006-07-28: Touched!

2006-07-31: Touched Again! (Morning)

2006-07-31: NOA2 Approved!!!
