Well, I got a response from FAFSA that said "you may be eligible for up to 5550.00". I think that's a good thing. I have never done this before so I'm hoping one of the schools I put down contacts me soon.

We woke up early todaydevil.gif and of course couldn't go back to sleep. booooooooooooo!!! But that's much better than the way things have been going for us lately. So, I accept!good.gif

John should be off work early today and we'll probably go out shopping for our religious ceremony dress and tux. My man loves shopping even more than I do!! Sweet :luv: but bad for the budget :whistle:

Amal, FAFSA's response to you sounds great! I just checked out their website yesterday. John and I are planning to do extra studies. One at a time, of course. What are you planning on studying?

Morning everyone and a very happy Friday!

Amal, happy you heard from FAFSA!! When you register financial aid will let you know what you

will receive. It's broken down for each semester, not all at once. Wish Wael would have been qualified for

pell grants, but am so happy what he did get! Good luck sweetie!

Aya, happy you will also be taking some courses! Meet with an advisor and they will tell you what your

course of action will be. Be sure to have your transcripts and your course studies. Good luck to you and John!!

Don't know if you guys know it or not, but if you are in an Honor Society you receive many discounts on

everything from auto insurance, etc. Wael is a member of an International Honor Society. It really pays to

maintain a high gpa!

Good morning everyone. Congrats on the financial aid, the new classes, and the shopping! :thumbs:

Jeanne, enjoy the rain. It's been cooler up here but we haven't gotten wet yet...at least not in my area. Sara enjoy the park! I wish I could but I'm home sick again. Oh why do parents send their kids to school sick? Then they're coughing, sneezing, turning in papers with germs and then I get sick. Hopefully this will clear up soon...it's my second day home but this has been hanging on all week.

Ok, I'm off to get some medicine and then some rest. Everyone have a great day!

Wow, Everyone's going back to school. I'm waiting to hear from the school regarding my FAFSA as well. I'm hoping I can get student loans along with my grant, so that I can attend full time. Good luck to everyone.

Jeanne we have it all over the school too. I think I'm going to have to get some wipes or something so I can use my own. It's great the school provides us with the hand sanitizer, but it's not exactly how I want my hands to be smelling all day. LOL! They buy the off brand to save some money. Ah well, I am going to look at it as I get a few days' rest before going back to work on Monday. I hope it rains for both of us in the meantime! I feel like this is the last break before summer hits.
